Even if it isn´t that expensive it´s still bad for the money you pay. The check-in took 1 hour and our room wasn´t ready. They seemed to be totally unable to cope with 2 groups arriving at the same time. The floor looked like it hasn´t been cleaned for a month and we had to share our bathroom with another...

I stayed here for three nights in 2015. I made a mistake when booking another hotel and the staff here helped me out when I was in a really tight spot late at night. Its taken me a very long time to write and thank them. As for the place itself, its in a great location for exploring Prague and...

Staff were very accommodating and with this our first trip to Prague, informed us of the best places to visit and see. Room was private with ensuite, kitchen and large living space which suited the four of us perfectly. For the price we paid the room was excellent and location was spectacular. Easy to walk into the town once you've...

AVOID - I'm not the type of person who normally leaves reviews, but felt as though I had to warn people about this place. Rooms are filthy and I got bed bugs. when I lodged a complaint, the staff got aggressive and told me I was lucky they weren't charging me for the removal. Worse still, they stole 200€ Euros...

The location is really good, a lot of nice venues nearby. But there are several issues with cleanness. The room was not clean even on the first day. There were bed bugs in our room. When we contacted the staff on this problem they did nothing to help, didn't offer us another room. Actually it seemed like they have already...

Rooms are clean and very standard for European hostels. Some are themed such as my room, which was The Beatles themed. This hostel is located near the river and the dancing house- near many bars. However during my visit the card machine was broken so I had to pay in cash . Also our apartment only had 2 showers shared...

Very nice room for a Hostel and for the price with very friendly staff. The room had lots of facilities we did not expect as budget travellers which was a great surprise. Brilliant location walk-able to all the main attractions in Prague. Overall very good, the only problem was the very weak WiFi connection to our room, I ended up...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
