The location is amazing - right next to the square as suggested! The staff (namely, Natasha and Laura) were very welcoming, and had incredible knowledge of things to do and places to visit in Prague, so thank you!! The rooms were really good - comfortable beds and showers in the rooms! Overall, had a really good stay

This is the second time in Prague Square. It much nicer and cleaner. During winter, there are not too many people which is nice. There are some street vender who sales hot wine that taste very special especially in cold weather.

I actually stayed here in May 2015, but it wouldn't let me write that far back! I loved staying here though! It is so close to Old Town Square and many other town attractions. It's also close to the subway. I found the city very easy to navigate and the staff at the hostel was happy to assist and answer...

My friend and I had a great experience at this hostel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was feeling pretty sick while I stayed here and got directions on where to go for the nearest pharmacy and also got recommendations on what kind of tea I could drink. The beds were clean and the rooms were warm which...

Hostel was decent, clean but a little noisy. It is very close to Old Town Square and is walking distance from many of Prague's attractions. Breakfast was oversold since the "free breakfast" is a choice of one of two cereals and a mediocre sandwich.

Located right in the Centre of the city, just a min walk away from old Square, but it does not have many facilities and the rooms are really cramped up, they have very less number of washrooms and I would not recommend this hostel only if you are looking just for the location, then you can definitely end up here,...

The location and the staff were amazing, however on the day we arrived one of the rooms had been completely destroyed so we all ended up in different rooms. The staff managed it very well, but it was a bit of a bummer. The place has a nice atmosphere, especially if you intend to party.... If you are looking for...

PSH is in a great location, right in the center of town! The staff were super helpful. The hostel had ample amenities. The breakfast (included) isn't 5 star so don't hold your breath - but it is something! If possible try to get a bottom bunk or the loft bed, top bunk very rocky (however beds aren't pre allocated). The...

Came here with a friend we met on the train and turned out to be better than the one we had booked. The staff were really nice, weren't too annoyed that we slept through our check out. There's a kitchen so you can cook food which saves money, they advertise the Prague pub crawl which is an amazing night out....

I stayed here back in March 2014 so when I decided to take the Eurail Train around Europe, I knew this was the place to stay at again. Charlanne is a wonderful lady to work with and a fountain of information. The hostel is located like a 2 minute walk from the Astronomical Clock and not a bad walk from...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
