The hostel isn't exactly clean, especially the toilets and showers have a lot to improve. One of the showers is in such a terrible condition that I couldn't go in there because of the strong smell of mould. In the other shower you got water only by pressing a button all the time which made showering pretty difficult. The staff... More

The hostel is in a good location, with a park and national monument nearby. Buses stop outside and the tram stop is within 100 metres. The underground trains do not stop anywhere close. I chose this hostel because it is cheap for Prague. It is not the best hostel in Europe but has good secure lockers and free tea and... More

Highly enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again as well as recommend others to stay here. As I tell everybody traveling, remember, if you want 5 star posh hotel service, STAY IN A HOTEL. This is a hostel. It's for backpackers and young travelers looking for a nice place to stay. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly helpful and... More

The hostel seemed fine and the staff were friendly. They sent us an email telling us that the twin room we had reserved had no windows. Unfortunately this made the room very damp and mouldy. This should not be a bedroom it should be made into another shower/ toilet. Wi Fi did not work at all in the room. Shower... More

Six of my friends and me stayed at the hostel for 3 nights and it was great. We had a good experience altogether. Breakfast was good and cheap. Amazing staff, for a low price one of the best options. It is near to the city centre so it was easy to get to town.

Double twin budget room was tiny, which wouldn't matter since we only needed it to crash somewhere at night. Problem was there was no window and the ventilation sucked. Also very thin doors and the school trip full of teenage girls in the dorm room next to ours didn't really give much opportunity to sleep. Service was great though, beer... More

I was doing the interrail around some countries, and when I arrived in Prague I booked for the Marabou recommended from a friend. Must say it was easy to find, was able to get a discount with the European Youth Card (Euro 26) and the ambience was awesome!! I slept on a very big room, filled only with guys, and... More

After reading the positve and negative reviews, I must say both sides are right. It has cool features and feels like a "proper youth hostel" but the overall quality is rather poor.. Overall I would say my trip was ok and fun, but there probably are better places at better locations with better qualities.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The hostel has a fantastic atmosphere; chilled music blares from the hostel's sound system, like minded travellers chill on old sofas and share stories, people meet in the kitchen and drink Czech beers before heading into town to party. I wish all hostels were as social and fun as this... More
