Staff extremely rude, rooms small and we had an upgrade, upgrade also means silly small windows! Very noisy as its on the main road. Food terrible.

In terms of the room, the size is fantastic and it includes a desk and chair as well as a small table with comfy armchair. On check in the room was neat and prepared however that is where the good news ended. I don't know what the standard of housekeeping is in Prague but from a 4* perspective I imagine...

If you just want to be in Prague and don't care where you stay, this one is ok. Away from the streets with droves of tourists, yet near enough. Hotel is better than the first impression and second impression: elevator was not working and hallways and stairwell were dingy and underlit. But, room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. Window blocked...

The hotel didn't come upto my expectations. Reception staff lacks mannerism & doesn't know how to treat guests & is mostly non-cooperative. They would neither take nor deliver messages & won't take ur complaints seriously. I had to go to my room through stairs at 4th floor because the elevator was out of serveice. I stayed in a single room...

This is a surprisingly good hotel. There is nothing "flash" about it ... just an ordinary lobby etc ... but the rooms are quite big (I was upgraded to a double room), and they are very clean and extremely quiet. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were really helpful. Overall, I think this hotel provides very good value...

When I chose this hotel on Orbitz I saw it was within walking distance of the Prague Train Station, but I found out it was a long walk, on busy streets, all uphill. I was tired by the time I finally found the lobby. The room was large, but I had to climb one flight of stairs to reach it,...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
