Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Chodíme sem s kamaràdemna pivo. Pivo dobré,kuchyně dobrá,velmi příjemná obsluha V letních měsících je venku před hotelem zahrádka kde je příjemné posezení. Též se zde griluje. Rád se sem vracím. Mohu vřele doporučit. 🍺🍺🍺

How does Hotel Gradient gets 3 stars ?? It should be rated minus 1 star. The place is awful - dirty, inconvenient, no services etc...it has the ambiance of communist dormitory of the worst kind. I would not recommend this place under any circumstances.

I've been to many hotels and, as for the 3-star ones, Gradient hotel represents the lowest quality I've ever seen. For starters, the staff does not speak English. This makes communication quite difficult. Strange, considering the web page is in English and I made the reservation in English as well. Room was poor. It had everything you need, but the overal impression was bad. Quite untidy, rather harsh, no cozy feeling at all. Bathroom is merely sufficient. Room was unheated. It's October and 10 degrees Celsius outside (!). It was damn freezing and the attempts to get the heating on brings me to point number 1 - problems with communication. I actually found one guy who spoke English and he called someone several times to switch on the heating, but still - the heater remained dead cold. I got several wake-ups at night, simpy because I was freezing. Cigarettes... Good Mary mother of God, they're everywhere. I'm a non-smoker and I hate the stench of cigarettes, but couldn't get rid of it. Someone (guests? staff?) kept smoking in the corridor, the room doors are not sealed in any way, so this whole fetor goes inside, whether you want it, or not. Smoking seems to be normal in the restaurant, so if you want to stay fresh in the morning and smell nice with your cologne - stay away. No credit cards! Tadaaaaam! You go to a 3-star hotel, you see VISA emblem at the door, but can't pay with a credit card. VISA applies to the restaurant only, as I learned, and the hotel is a separate entity. Cash only. Breakfast... The web page says: "breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00". Wrong! I went for a breakfast at 9:20 (had this unique opportunity to sleep a bit longer than usual) and was told breakfast was served till 9:00. How cute. I had a bit of an argument and had to actually show them what they wrote on their web page to get my breakfast. Internet... Well... It's an internal hotel's network. Good thing it's encrypted, bad thing you need to ask the staff for a password, which, again, brings me to point number 1. Internet connections drops regurarly, so if you're lucky, you can find the English-spoken guy and ask him to reset the router, which helps. Until the next crash. Concluding, it's a typical "hotel" for locals, who might be accustomed to this kind of conditions and this kind of "I-don't-quite-care" attitude. I've been to many much nicer places and would recommend to stay away from this one.
