The location is fabulous, and the café is quaint and a nice place to sit and relax with Coffee, tea, or something stronger. The rooms were adequate but the hot water was not available on two of three showers except an hour after we requested hot water. If we needed to notify the desk of this need we were not informed. But in their defense, they did always fix the problem quickly. As stated before, the location was excellent. Only one minute from the town square, it was a 10 - 15 minute walk to Pilsner Urquell's brewery tours and plenty of lounge restaurant establishments. There is one very near by called the "Camel Bar" that was not friendly at all and we were not encouraged to stay even moments. You might want to avoid it. All-in-all, we stayed our full stay, the…

great old historic building, quaint rooms and views over old town wall, no airconditioning when we were there in summer so a bit hot in the room. Great bar and outdoor courtyard, central to town square etc

The girl at the reception checked the cars every 30 minutes. As she found out at night, that the window of my car was open (i forgot to close), she stayed outside, next to my car for some hours! I asked her, why she didn´t inform me at night. She told, she did´nt want to wake me up. Great Service, great girl. Thank you Nikola!

This is a nice hotel in a very convenient location for everything you would like to visit in Pilsen. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room is clean and very nicely laid out. Unfortunately my room smelt a little from the drain in the bathroom.

This hotel is very nie option when traveling to Pilsen even though I'm not convinced if this is ok for business travel. I would rather recommend it for a romantic weekend or a honeymoon The place has its own a unique charm , it actually looks like a castle converted into a hotel . The walls in the rooms are made of stones , the lamps and interior design follows the style The beds are comfortable even though I do not like when a double bed is made of 2 mattresses sticked together instead of an entire one The bathroom requires a little bit of refresh in terms of equipment - the toilet is moving as you sit on it and there is only a bath top , no shower and only basic toiletries are available The service though was very good and helpful, they have shown me the room at arrival…

We stayed here 3 nights whilst visiting our daughter, who is working in Plzen. As we try to avoid chain hotels, we were pleased to find that Hotel Rous had plenty of character. Our room was large and well furnished, overlooking a small park to the rear of the building. The bathroom was well appointed and with a bath, which my wife was delighted with. Breakfast was a cold buffet, though eggs could be ordered if required. The hotel is minutes away from the main square and the trams run right past the door. Some people have remarked on the noise, but we didn't find them intrusive. The staff were all really friendly and the breakfast area converted into a coffee shop/bar in the evening, closing at 8pm. Good little hotel!

Stayed here for 2 nights on Business. The hotel is in a very good location, however, it does have some flaws. Firstly due to the age of the building they are unable to install AirCon, this is not ideal in the summer months. I was given a choice of room, one at the back with no windows which was quiet, and one at the front which I had windows, BUT, had a tramline out the front. Unfortunately, I opted for the room at the front wanting some air. What I didn't realise was the trams would start at 4am and not stop so not ideal for a good nights sleep. The bathroom didn't have a full shower, just a hand held over the bath, not ideal. Plus as the room was in the eves, a standup shower was impossible. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and apologised about the lack…

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is pretty unique. We stayed in two different rooms both being doubles and they were pretty large. My son had an extra bed and I was impressed that it wasn't just one of the roll away beds. It was actually really nice. The room is super clean and cute. The breakfast is super ( cakes, super yummy pastries, fruit, cheese, bread, coffee. juice, and more) the best part about breakfast is being able to eat it out on the terrace. The workers are all super friendly as well! Parking is not available on site but the garage is not far away. Internet is free but super slow to almost nonexistent. Our rooms faced the street with a trolley that went by all day and most of the night so it was pretty loud but other rooms I would imagine…

We booked our room here based off of reviews and cost on booking.com and we were not disappointed. The hotel itself and rooms were very charming. We were given a room facing the terrace which was a lovely view. The beds were a little hard for my taste, but not horribly uncomfortable. Sat night there was a bit of noise from a group chatting on the terrace until 2 a.m. but honestly that wasnt to big a deal and to be expected when your in the central part of any European city on a weekend. Parking could be tricky, but again this is a historic city in Europe so parking wasn't expected to be easy. That being said we found a spot in a parking lot at the end of the block, payed 7 euro for Friday, but the rest of the weekend was free. Excellent location, just a block from the main…

Nicely decorated hotel, probably renovated not long ago. Location is just perfect for exploring the city, staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok, rooms were not too big, but clean. There were no hangers for toilet paper or towels in bathroom. I also missed a shelf for cosmetics. Attic rooms on 3rd floor can be a problem for higher people. Wifi worked very good. Parking can be a problem during the weekdays, but weekends are ok and free.
