Family-hotel. Restaurant is really cosy. All around is wood like mountains houses or "Koliba".I had no possibility to try their kitchen - but i would like to- maybe next time.Kitchen is traditional czech, they had beer Kreta too( Brewery Kutna Hora mades it especially for this hotel/you can see building from hotels windows :) /) and wine from winery Kutna Hora. Breakfast was really various ..and speciality of this place is , they have some own meat and cheese prodacts. Hotel is different style- "holiday sea appartement style" , but it was clean and comfortable. I was surprised with slippers :) .. In my room i found cityinfo -map etc.Close is a mainbusst. and supermarket. City center is close or u can use the bus or taxi- the way is really cheap. It is really good place to chill, eat and be normal person.Staff or family is not still smiling but they are friendly, real and present.…
We stayed for one night. Check in & check out were fairly easy, the staff didn't speak much English but we certainly got by just fine. There is an elevator. Room was huge with a nice view of the town. Air conditioning worked and was lovely in the heat wave! Bathroom was large but shower was a bit small (didn't use it), basic amenities provided (soap/shampoo containers on the wall). Nice locked parking area down the road. Easy walk to town square, and we even walked to Sedlec Ossuary from the hotel which took about 20-25 minutes (in the heat!!). No English tv channels (didn't mark them down for that, just noting for those that might care). This won't be the fanciest place you ever stay at, but it's a nice place and great value.
this is not a real hotel, but a bar offering rooms located in a not very attractive suburb but only 10 minutes walking fom central kutna hora, they offer free carpark 50 metres away from the property there is not a reception, check in is performed at the bar the room had sufficient size, the bathroom was big but the shower area was extremely and unnecessarily small, the bed was acceptable, there was a minibar with a very basic selection, therewas not a safety box, there was wardrobe, the courtains were very slim and there was too much light in the room as from sunrise, there was a kettle with two tea bags only (no instant coffee). the air conditioned worked well. thefree wifi had some interruptions. a set of slippers were inlcuded in the room price, however the plastic was not sealed, so i did not use it. theflat tv was rather small but had an acceptable tv stations choice in different languages but the room was quite dirty. we needed the toilet to be cleant after our arrival and there was a lot of dust breakfast included was a very basic continental buffet, some food did not seem to have its natural colour and the tables were dirty and sticky the staff hardly spoke english, but did their efforts to understand us dogs are accepted for 4 euros per day check out time is 11 am, but for 8 euros extra they allowed a noon check out for its price, this property would be a decent place to sleep if was clean given the cleanliness standards i witnessed, i cannot recommend it…
Off the city Centre, but within walking distance of the historic sight. Rather rustic atmosphere, reminiscent of Eastern European mountain chalets (permanent whiff of fried food included). Nice, clean, spacious and quiet rooms. Very copious buffet breakfast. Can be recommended for a couple of nights if simple comfort is what you‘re after.
We were very tired when we cycled in. This is a pub, make no mistake but it meant a pub meal that night and we were very happy not to have to head out again. Room was smallish for 3 of us but quite adequate; it was for 1 night afterall. Check-in was performed in between bar duties but we got sorted. Meal was ‘no beef, no pork, sorry!’ That only left chicken ... but it was very nice - with chips and we were happy.
