Excellent! New and clean. The breakfast was amazing. Homemade dishes and the owners so friendly. Big rooms and comfortable beds. The view from the room breathtaking .5 minute walk to Apollonia. 5 stars!!!
Our stay at Kampos could not have been better. Nikolas and Aphrodite welcomed us like family. We enjoyed getting to know them! They had fantastic recommendations for us, including the best place in Sifnos to watch the sunset (7 Seas Hotel!). The included breakfast was also delicious and filling! A great start to the day. I would definitely stay at Kampos again!
Very recommended! Very well furnished and stylish apartments with a beautiful view of the island. In a few minutes walk you can easily reach Apollonia and Artemonas; a relaxing and quite atmosphere. Very good breakfast, with handmade local food, served in the panoramic terrace. A special mention for the owner, a very kind person.
Kampos offers great value and is well located, a short walk from both Apollonia and Artemonos. The room had a good sized balcony with a great view and the best group of cat visitors. If you don’t like cats, they won’t bother you but if you do like them, they will stick around. The bathroom was bright and had a window for fresh air. Breakfast was plentiful and offered great variety and it is served, rather than a buffet. The weather turned a bit bad when we were there but Niko was very helpful with the ferries and advice and he made some calls to assist. There is lots of parking for cars or mopeds and it is a great base to start hikes. Definitely worth staying here!
We stayed here for six nights in September and cannot say enough good things about Kampos Home and the staff. The room we stayed in was clean and beautifully decorated. The balcony was huge and even had a hot tub, although we didn't find the time to use it. The view from the balcony is stunning and perfect for sitting on in the evenings with faint sounds from the town below. Breakfast is a whole new experience and, if you're planning a hike, negates the need to worry about lunch. Yoghurt, juice, coffee, fruit, cakes, toasties, bread... the table is soon covered with plates of food! The staff do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The property is situated above the town of Apollonia and below Artemonas. There is a road to Kampos Home which is useful for taxi pick-ups or drop-offs with luggage, however there are 196 (long and shallow) steps down to Apollonia and a similar number to get to Artemonas. As long as you avoid climbing them during the hottest parts of the day they are not a real problem and we passed plenty of middle-aged and elderly couples on our climbs and descents. It is rare that I feel I would like to go back to somewhere I've already been, but I hope that we will return to Kampos Home next year!…
