We stayed at the Beechy for two nights with a family of four( 6yo and 2 yo).
The rooms are old and there was a tile missing in the bathroom and the carpet had some marks on it.
But for the price it was great and most of all it was clean and safe for my young family.
We chose The Beechy as it’s right in the middle of all the waterfalls, redwoods, Otway fly. This made it easy for us to take day trips and head into Apollo Bay for a swim.
We had dinner both nights at the Beechy Hotel. The food was AMAZING!!!!!
The owners are so warm and welcoming. The pub itself is very country, we had a visitor from a local dog. My girls were so excited lol.
Tables and toilets nice and clean.
Standard menu for lunch and dinner and Pizza night on Sunday nights.

Dropped in late on a Tuesday night after being referred from our accommodation hostess.
So glad we went. The ambiance, bar and people are fantastic. We all went for the OMG burger, and it truly is OMG- bloody huge and tasty.
Thanks for a great night guys

Yep, it's cheap, yep it's basic, yep it's unglamorous, but for $80 a night for a family of 4, who's complaining?? It had a hot shower, electric blankets, comfy beds, TV, kettle, toaster, fridge, heater and some brekkie stuff. We chose to stay here after unexpectedly having some other travel plans fall through and had to find a place on a budget.
Well, this is a real one horse town, but is so convenient for checking out the Otway Fly and Treetop Walk, the many stunning waterfalls and the glow worms at Melba Gully. It is also 17km from Lavers Hill, which is double the price and means you can continue on the Great Ocean Road from this point.
The hotel it is attached to also does meals if you wish, and the owner was happy to heat up some food in the microwave for us on the night we arrived.
A real budget experience, but we were glad we did it as it is a beautiful part of the world and the drive along Turton's Track to get there was worth a million dollars!!

went there with a couple of the locals, turning up 3 minutes before the kitchen closed. Nothing was too much trouble, the parmas and fish and chips were great, and the service efficient and very friendly. We ended up sitting up at the bar for another hour, with a couple visiting from the Auld Country who were staying at the Beechy; they had put off leaving, they were so comfortable and enjoying the area so much.
Highly recommended for friendly service, good pub food, and local atmosphere

My family and friends just finished a 2 week trip around SA and NSW. By far the best place we stayed was the "Beechy'!
Our rooms were great, basic pub rooms but had THE comfiest beds we'd had all trip.
The new owners were amazing. So friendly and welcoming! You can tell how passionate they are about their business because they are more than happy to have a chat.
I've never had a better parma in my life, it was enormous!
We ended up grabbing our trivia board game and played in the pub, having a few of the locals join in. It was just how a small town pub should feel like.
I would definitely recommend staying at this great pub if you happen to be in Beech Forest!

Not 5 star accomodation, but more than adequate. Rooms clean and a comfy bed. The hosts, Gwynneth and Miles, were very friendly, as were the locals in the bar. They serve good generous meals and cold beer. Very good value for money.
Well worth a stay if you are in the area visiting any of the nearby tourist attractions.

If your looking for a place to stay near waterfalls, zip lining and awesome nature walks this is the place to stay. The staff were super friendly the room was cosy and the parmis were excellent.

If your looking for the Ritz-Carlton this isn't it, but if you like a place that cares and looks after you this is it.
