Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our second stay at Ripplebrook and certainly won't be our last. My husband surprised me for my birthday. There is absolutely no need to take anything as it is all supplied, every little detail has been thought of. It really is a beautiful place to visit.

Highly recommended. We (my wife and I) stayed 3 nights in the “Stockmans Hut” at Ripplebrook in September. The cottage is spacious, truly luxurious and has everything that you could want. The location is absolutely beautiful in the quiet countryside with magnificent views. This is definitely the ideal place to get away from it all and relax.

We did quite a lot of travel in Victoria and Tasmania in late December and January catching up with family and friends for Christmas and New Year, family from overseas and a daughters wedding in Hobart. This meant that we needed accomodation near Druin for two periods, the first between Christmas and the new Year, and the second for a few days at the end of January. We stayed in the Miners Cottage on both occasions; the view is fabulous, the cottage is beautifully appointed and has everything you could possibly need from the gourmet breakfast provisions and proper coffeee maker, to a washing machine and dryer. Jan and Bill were welcoming, courteous and helpful. We stayed in several other B&Bs, in both states, during the period; the Ripplebrook Cottages were not the most expensive, nor were they the cheapest, however the quality of the accommodation and the service was by far the best value for money. Thank you Jan and Bill, we will be back and we will also refer friends and family.

We stayed at the Leena Cottage for two nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jan was an exceptional host and the cabin itself was beautiful and spotless - could not fault it. Being 6 months pregnant, I hadn't been sleeping well for weeks but the king-size bed was SO comfortable and I woke up both mornings feeling refreshed and well-rested for the first time in months.

Breakfast provisions were generous and tasty and we ate our breakfast on the back verandah while the friendly Gippsland cows watched on. We also had massages done in the treatment room next to the gym and Katelyn the therapist was excellent.

Overall, I really didn't want to leave. Only an hour from Melbourne but felt like another world away. Thanks Jan and Bill for a lovely weekend.

Staying in The Miners Cottage was absolute luxury. We arrived and saw the beautiful garden, music was playing and a cheese palter and wine were waiting for us. Everything we could have needed had been thought of from a mini sewing kit for a quick fix to aeroguard. The spa was amazing being able to soak relax and look out at the view. Food provisions were generous and delicious even a coffee machine and a bread maker if you wanted to bake.We have stayed at many cottages all over Australia some say they are luxurious but none have compared to this you have to experience it for yourself.

Drouin ?? Who would of thought such a beautiful Cottage could exist out that way in the middle of no where.. The miners cottage was amazing with its rural backdrop and stunning views of near by padocks and green hills.
The peace and quite away from the hustle and bustle of city living was just what was needed to unwind the stress of life.
To Jan & Bill you have an amazing property and group of cottages, it is a tribute to you both and you can see the passion you have in sharing your place and wonderful cottages..
The cottages are so quaint and well fitted out. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank-you for everything you guys are ACE!!

My daughter and her husband got married here in early Oct 2013 . Parents of the bride and the bridesmaids stayed in the 3 cottages on the night before the wedding and had a great time.We went back there after the wedding as the reception was only a couple of kms away.
As parents of the bride ( and footing the bill ) we were very impressed with the service provided by Jan and Bill (even to the late night wake up call for a lost key). The cottages were beautiful and spacious, first class luxury all the way,the views fantastic looking over the valley, the cheese platters and wine on arrival, the phone call to see what breakfast foods we wanted were a nice touch. The pergola in the gardens where the wedding took place had a fantastic backdrop and impressed everyone there.
Many thanks to Jan and Bill for making Caitlin and Alans day so special
Wendy and I will be back for a parents only indulgence weekend.

Ripplebrook Cottages are beautifully designed in an amazing location, overlooking the beautiful countryside. Jan and Bill are amazing, they are truly able to cater for your needs, and are so welcoming, they make you feel like your coming home. Our family had travelled interstate for an engagement and Jan was so helpful which made our stay a breeze, we definitely will be coming back.
