My partner Marc and I had the most amazing 2 night stay here as a treat and that exactly what this place is, a treat! As Nadi locals we're so used to the Denerau and Yasawa type of getaways and that's what makes Voli Voli so great, its location; super private and exclusive and yet close enough to shops and Raki Raki town if you wanted to do some exploring while you were up here. Its quiet and tucked away in a beautiful little corner of paradise that has views that are just to die for! We were lucky enough to be treated to complimentary foot massage which was just the relaxing treatment we needed.

The food was AMAZING period! In fact the only thing that I would reccomend when dining at Voli Voli is an elastic waistband because the portions are massive! 😂😂Such quality and quantity for what you pay and the menu is an exciting mix of both local and international flavors and we were wowed by everything we ate!

The last and probably best thing Voli Voli has to offer is their fun and adventurous cocktail Menu. As young people we're always looking to try new flavours (especially when theres alcohol involved) and Voli Voli is a great place for it! Had a Rum Runner cocktail that was super yum and it was great to finally come to a hotel where they deliver what they promise in terms of strong drinks.

The whole weekend was honestly just phenomenal and we are definitely coming back!

Vinaka Voli Voli.

I had the pleasure to spend 9 days at Volivoli Feb 9-18. I specifically went there to scuba dive and do underwater photography. Let me say from the onset that nothing was too much trouble or difficult for any of the staff to do once a request was made. The resort arranged every aspect from my pick up at the Nadi airport to all other aspects of my stay. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean. The resort staff in the dining room area were outstanding. The food was wholesome, diverse and served with ease.
Ok I have been fortunate to have dived in a number of places. I chose Fiji this time as I wanted to photograph the extremely colorful soft coral & anthias. Well I was not disappointed. The dive crew truly help you in so many ways. They take you to some outstanding dive locations, give excellent dive briefs and although several staff are in the water with you there is still a feeling of "diving freedom" especially for UW photographers. I cam away delighted with the entire diving experience. For those with cameras there is a very well set up camera room with individual spaces, great rinse tanks etc. Oh yeah at at Happy Hour by the dive shop is ice cold beer after the days diving. I am looking forward to my next Volivoli visit. You will too!!

I was staying in one of the small villas for a week of diving.

Diving is excellent, with soft coral and colourful small fish - top notch. Dive centre is well run, good service, very friendly staff. They are the only dive operator up there - uncrowded diving. House reef is unremarkable with often low visibility. Several dive briefings had inaccurate drawings/descriptions, but all dives were guided and easy so it did not matter that much.

Accomodation is very clean and in good shape, except aircon which works but was older and noisy. Not a big problem in July, but a bit annoying when it’s warmer. My villa had a full fridge and kitchenette, but you’d have to get a taxi into the nearby village to buy your own food. If that’s your thing, stop by a supermarket during your transfer to the resort.

Food was tasty but expensive. I had full board which is a lot of food, but good if you are diving. Fresh fruit juices would be a good addition at breakfast, given it is a premium resort.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Not much to do there, most guests come for the diving, I think.

billabong859 thank you so very much for taking the time to provide your feedback from your recent stay, it is greatly appreciated and we always appreciate hearing from out guests. As you experienced we are extremely fortunate to have such vibrant and healthy reef systems right on our doors step and of course the 100's of incredible macro critters like seahorses, pipefish, nudibranch, anemones and frogfish etc right in front of the resort on our 3 x muck diving house reefs, which are available completely free of charge 24x7x365. Thanks for the heads-up on the noisy air-conditioner unit in your Premium Ocean View villa - this has now been replaced. In regards to 'other things to do' apart from diving, and yes you are correct, that is the # 1 reason people do come to us, since we have Fiji's finest diving and are home to the 'soft coral capital of the world' right on our doorstep, we do offer a good range of both land and water tours such as Nabalasere village & waterfall tour (Fiji's biggest waterfall), local village and market tours, the Tomb of Ratu Udre Udre (the world's most prolific cannable), Church of the Black Christ, Snake Cave, Dolphin Encounter, Snorkel Safari trips, Island discovery tours, Sunset Cruises, a range of Fishing trips, free use of Stand-Up Paddle boards and kayaks - as well of course our 2 onsite restaurants and 3 bars. Finally our free traditional Fijian night complete with meke and lovo (usually Thursday nights) and our beach BBQ and party night (usually on Sunday night), as well as live music every evening. We hope to see you back when the time is right. Vinaka from our entire team

We came for the diving, but appreciated the rooms and food as nice bonuses. Simon runs a very tight operation at then its dive shop Ra Divers. Everything was organized, professional and helpful. And it didn't hurt that the dive sites were top notch. Gear was cleaned each day. There was a truly delicious meal served on the 3-tank dive day. And it was nice that they segregated the camera folks from the rest of us, since they often go much slower.

The room was very luxurious compared to the other 4 resorts we visited while in Fiji.I personally didn't require such luxury and the price to go with it, but for those that appreciate those creature comforts, VoliVoli delivers as a good value proposition.

The food was uniformly fresh and delicious, and we appteciated that the chefs modified a couple of their recipes to accommodate our fish-only preferences.

Easy to recommend Volivoli without reservation!

Bula! It is going difficult to express how great was our time at Voli Voli. Quick and efficient help booking transfer from and to airport. Food allergies were mentioned during check in and staff at restaurant already knew about them when going for first meal just after check in, always being careful of them during our staying. Amazingly kind and funny staff, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, ... everybody makes you feel at home. Food is really nice and yummy. Some of the dishes are mouthwatering... fell in love with Kodak fish. Room big and clean with Stunning views. Swimming pool clean. Beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling. New Year's Eve dinner/party was so much fun... dancing and laughing non stop.
Perfect place to completely switch off. Just enjoy life.
We hope to see you soon again!!
You are all fantastic!!
Felipe and Susana.

My dad and I stayed at Voli Voli for a week to dive the many magnificent sites of the Bligh Waters. We were blown away by the kindness, hospitality and professionalism by all the staff from front of house to dive crew.
The food was out of this world, the many bars which offered varying happy hour times and the comfort of the rooms are all to be commended.
The dive crew and facilities were organized, on time and provided many laughs and warm Bulas. Despite the rainy rough conditions all week, the diving was still spectacular and the crew ensured all trips were safe and as comfortable as possible.
We will definitely be returning to Voli Voli Beach Resort!

We choose this resort on recommendations and the website saying it is family friendly, 2 hours from airport and great beach etc.
Resort is a dive resort and that when talking to other guests is great but for families of multiple ages there are better places to go in Fiji in my opinion. We paid for full board and 2 premium bure's with my mother and 2 teenage boys . The transfer out was over 3 hours and we arrived at night - the pathways are not well lit up and the 2 we were allocated had a steep incline with no railings. We were under impression that they could have a sofa bed and the reception staff offered my boys to sleep on the built in sofa's which are hard and narrow (they even omitted that the website was misleading!) First night going down to the beach again very steep no railings and at night with tide in there is really no beach. Staff warned us about the stingrays and advised us to wear shoes in the water incase we were stung - not great when teenagers want some freedom. Next morning at breakfast the staff were lovely and welcoming but given the price for the food there were 3 items that were not available (all appropriate for teenagers!) coffee machine was not working and they did not know when it would be fixed. The walk down to the main restaurant the railings were not safe as not secure overall in places the resort looked tired. We made the tough decision to move resort as could not see it working out both accommodation, food and beach etc and all the front staff told us was that it was non refundable.
Given that my mother was treating my family to this holiday after 3 years not seeing her due to Covid it was so disappointing. I though the resort could offer some refund as a kind gesture but unfortunately none.
If you want to dive this could be your place but if you want somewhere where the whole family can relax, explore then probably an island is better.

Bula Sam P - J381FXsamp and thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, we appreciate all of our guest's responses. To be honest this is a little hard one to swallow and we are disappointed we did not live up to your expectations. There are a few points thought that we need to point out in your review that may not be quite accurate: 1) all of our pathways are well lit at night, 2) all of our pathways have sturdy and secure handrails, and we do certainly have some steepish pathways as we are situated on a beautiful headland so these thankfully allow an amazing scenic view of the surrounding waters and hills, again though they all have handrails for everyone's comfort (our records also indicate our security drove your mother & yourself to and from your villas in our comlementary buggys), 3) we are not sure why you were under the impression we had fold-out/fold-away beds, in our Premium Ocean View villas, this is not the case and these villas clearly show 1 x King bed on our website and booking engine (we do note though that you made you booking via a 3rd party OTA), 4) we certainly do promote ourselves as Fiji's Premier Dive Resort, that is our focus and is what is clearly set out on our website, 5) activities for teenagers, or anyone in fact, are plentiful including stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel safaris, dolphin encounters, fishing charters, crab racing, volleyball, local village and waterfall visits, local markets, basket weaving classes, and so much more 6) I can also confirm that on the morning of August 19th we were able to supply our full range of breakfast items and nothing was out of stock or unavailable as you mentioned, 7) transfers from the airport are typically 2 to 2.5-hours, obviously this depends on the time of day and currently there are roadwork upgrades being done so this could add a little extra time (the cost of constant improvements) - we also note you chose your own transport provider, and not our preferred option, so this is unfortunately completely out of our control regarding route, time and quality 8) you are correct though that our coffee machine was broken, we do though, and did on your stay, have 24-hour drip coffee available, thankfully we now have a new coffee machine for lattes and cappuccinos etc working well (apologies for this not being available during your stay). Once again we do appreciate your feedback, we have taken it onboard and continue to offer unsurpassed diving experiences to the global diving community. Vinaka

We recently stayed for 3 nights at Volivoli Beach resort in one of the luxury villas with a private pool. The room was outstanding, beautifully designed so that both bedrooms looked out to the view, and practical, with access to one of the bathrooms from the deck and pool. The resort itself is immaculate, with lovely grounds. The food was very good and the service excellent. The staff introduced themselves on our first night, and I was impressed they remembered all of our names! I hope to return one day.

Now that our magical day has been and
gone the memory on our Anniversary still fills our hearts as one of the most amazing days of our lives all thanks to the Darling Family and all the team at Volivoli Beach Resort.
Our guests were blown away with the beauty and the interment setting which we got to spend 5 of the best days with our closest family and friends which added to our wedding memories we truly recommend having an destination wedding where everyone can relax, have fun and also have a holiday.
From the moment we made contact with Volivoli all the stress had been lifted as Geraldine our wedding coordinator had put a wedding package together including absolutely everything plus guest packages including all food and accommodation costs. We also added our hens and bucks parties to the booking which the girls choose to travel to a private island while the boys went on a charted fishing trip which was a once in a lifetime opportunity. So if you can see yourself having fireworks, bon fires and dancing on the sand. Volivoli Beach Resort is a must ....you won't regret it.

Volivoli Beach Resort was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my wife's birthday. A wonderful, relaxing resort off the beaten track, with excellent food, gorgeous views, great diving and best of all, a fantastic and welcoming staff. We were treated like family. It's not easy to get to, but once you are there it is well worth it!

I have been a diver for 38 years and a PADI instructor for 27 years and have had the good fortune to travel a good part of the world. Being an experienced traveler, I can say the resort grounds are clean and well kept with lots of beautiful, native plant species. Our bure (cottage) was up on the hill, giving us spectacular views of the turquois and azure waters right from our porch. It was clean, spacious and well laid out with a small kitchen and refridgerator.

We were on the full meal plan and had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Breakfast and lunches were simple but very good, and the dinners were more elegant and delicious. The only bad thing I can say about the food was there was too much of it. In hindsight, we would maybe just do breakfast and dinner. They did put on a beach buffet one night and had many of the locals come and perform and dance. It was truly enjoyable to watch them in their colorful attire, and at the end of the evening, sit and drink kava with them.

We took one day off from diving to experience one of the many activities that Volivoli Beach Resort offers. We went to the village of Nabalasere to hike the Nabalasere Waterfall. We felt special and welcome as the delightful children of the village came running to greet us. The hike itself was a lot of up and down througth the jungle and my wife did have to stop to cool down. Our guides brought lots of water to pour on her to cool her off. But the hike was well worth it upon arrival to an amazing waterfall. We swam and cooled off in the basin below and even hiked behing the waterfall.

The diving was beautiful. There was a nice mix of small critters to large and lots to see poking around the coral. There were swim throughs, caves dolphins and even a few sharks. But what sticks out most to me is the color of the reefs here because of the abundance of soft corals. Few places that I've dove are as beautiful as it is here. The boats were well laid out and comfortable for the rides to the reef. The captain and divemasters were professional, organized and well acquainted with the reefs.

Volivoli Beach Resort is truly a wonderful vacation destination and a good value for the the money.

Dreamer09792862870 thank you so very much for your beautiful review. It always makes our team smile when our clients love what we try and do for them and we hear it works. As an experienced and high-level diver of many years your feedback on the truly world-class diving we have also meant so much since you can compare it to a vast amount of experience and destinations worldwide. Nabalasere village and waterfall truly is a 'magical experience' and somewhere we are fortunate to have in our part of the world. Most people come for our world-class diving, we are genuinely spoilt by our incredible underwater playground right in front of the resort and appreciate bing able to dive Fiji's # 1 dive region 365-days a year however there is also so much to see topside when visiting the 'Heart of Fiji'. Safe travel and we hope to see you back again with us sometime in the future when the timing is right.

Bula Megan, There is no dress code per say other than no wet clothes in the restaurants and we request for the courtesy of other guests that a top is warn in the dinning area. Drinks range from FJ$7 per beer, FJ$12 local spirits and FJ$25 for cocktails (FJ$20 at happy hours throughout the day) Wine ranges from FJ$12per glass. At todays exchange rate US$1 buys roughly FJ$2.14 The rooms have a fridge but not a mini bar. Cheers

Snorkelling through the mangroves is interesting but snorkelling for coral etc not so good. If you are scuba divers they will give you free tanks to dive in the shallows around the resort. Frog, fish, leaf fish etc.if you are lucky.
