For the past five or more years, we have made a 5-7 day stay at Tamarind Beach an essential part of our vacation experience. The overall ambiance, friendly accommodating staff, large beach-front rooms (either walk out to the sandy beach or with private balcony), excellent menu and wine list, clean beach and excellent swimming, the recent addition of Wi-Fi in...

Stayed 6 nights during low season at end of June. Pros - very quiet time on island. We were one of two guests at tamarind and we were told that there weren't any guests at canouan resort. - very nice plantation style rooms. We were upgraded to a suite (as other reviewers have noted as well) which is twice the...

I had a great holiday in this small island paradise. I would like to say a big thank you to all staff for looking after us and making sure we were well looked after from girls at reception to drivers. See you soon.

If you are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of life get a room here. All room are located on the beach. Each room has mahogany doors and windows that allow the cool ocean air in. All day all you can hear is the crashing of waves onto the shore. Perfect when it comes to sleeping at...

To begin with the bottom line: we had a great time at this hotel, despite unusual circumstances. The SVG plane from Barbados was almost empty, and we were the only two arrivals at Canouan’s little airport, a few minutes from the hotel. The Tamarind entrance is just a few yards past the very few shops that exist in Charlestown -...

We stayed there for 8 nights. We were impressed by the landscape and the quality of the beach when we got there: really nice first impression of a peaceful natural island, with turtles everywhere. The hotel is fairly well integrated in the vegetation, and the woods in the room are pleasant. Staff was very helpful and friendly, took the extra mile...

Beautiful little hotel right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. All rooms are beach from and have huge screened in balconies. Great wifi property wide. The staff were all friendly. There is a great little beach bar. The snorkeling wasn't bad right off the beach.

Great staff and great pizza! Recommend both to all yachties. Would not stay here, as the beach and bay is not spectacular and there is nothing to do in Canouan. The sun only reaches the hotel after 10am...

My husband and I were there December 2014. Our room was beautiful, ocean front everything you could want. The bar and restaurant were great, friendly and relaxing. Definitely a place to decompress and relax! Highly recommend!

Rooms are nice, all of them on the beach. You can hear the sea constantly. Which I found relaxing, maybe bothersome for others. Staff in the pirate cove are friendly. Staff at the beach bar are rude, any order is too much... This destroys the atmosphere on the beach.
