My wife and I enjoyed a most memorable stay at the Tamarind Beach Hotel. We loved our spacious 1 bedroom suite located directly on the beach and were treated supremely the entire time. The complimentary breakfast in the Palapa restaurant was delicious and the service from the staff on the beach was excellent. We we provided snorkel equipment to use...

My first visit to the hotel was fantastic, friendly airport pick up to be greeted with a fruit punch upon check-in, walked to my suite which was fantastic, 2nd floor sweeping balcony overlooking the beach and bay. Lovely gentleman, Peter, at the beach bar and fantastically helpful front desk staff. I was given a great tour of the island by...

This was are first island we have visited on a tour of the Grenadines, and the Tamarind hotel was a great choice. Are room was lovely, immaculately clean and wanting for nothing. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and always wanting to give you the best advice. Breakfast was superb, they also make on the evening probably some...

What can I say, this place is fantastic. We had a suite that was just gorgeous, everything we had wished for and more. Staff friendly and efficient, always happy to help. The island is lovely, do take a short tour it's well worth it. We would definitely return and highly recommend the hotel and the island.

Beautiful and relaxing location in The Grenadines, having taken a short flight from St Vincent to reach Canouan. Fabulously sumptuous room, very comfortable with a gorgeous view from the verandah overlooking the beach. The staff were very efficient and informative. The food was great. I would most definitely stay here again!

For the past five or more years, we have made a 5-7 day stay at Tamarind Beach an essential part of our vacation experience. The overall ambiance, friendly accommodating staff, large beach-front rooms (either walk out to the sandy beach or with private balcony), excellent menu and wine list, clean beach and excellent swimming, the recent addition of Wi-Fi in...

Stayed 6 nights during low season at end of June. Pros - very quiet time on island. We were one of two guests at tamarind and we were told that there weren't any guests at canouan resort. - very nice plantation style rooms. We were upgraded to a suite (as other reviewers have noted as well) which is twice the...

All day all you can hear is the crashing of waves onto the shore. Perfect when it comes to sleeping at...

To begin with the bottom line: we had a great time at this hotel, despite unusual circumstances. The SVG plane from Barbados was almost empty, and we were the only two arrivals at Canouan’s little airport, a few minutes from the hotel. The Tamarind entrance is just a few yards past the very few shops that exist in Charlestown -...
