Poached eggs? Crispy Bacon? Soughbough toast? They EVEN allowed me 'catsup' for the 'taters'! That's hospitality!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I opted for the big Brekkie, and I got so much more than a morning meal. The chap at the corner table, lent us a look at his morning paper, and the lovely lass who tends the tables told me a few tales of her travels. The pub's owner, toasted my visit with a tinned milkshake, straight out of my soda-fountian-youth. The pub has great overnight beds, some of which you may have to share with ghosts. Beds bounce at about fifty bucks a night, and the bathroom's down the hall but I'd prefer this spot over a major 'chain' any day of the year!

Went to the pub for a meal while the local show was on. Very fast service, great staff and the meals came out very quickly. Chicken burger was amazing and great price, the steak was a huge hit and the steak sandwich went down a treat too.
Will be stopping in a bit more often!

Made a booking one hour before table was in a great spot with plenty of shade in the beer garden and the publican made us very welcome and brought our Puppy some fresh water. Drinks well priced. Good selection of lunch options including specials board. Steak was cooked to perfection, sorry no photos was too excited to try it. We will be back, thanks Marburg Hotel.

Very quiet during the week but really ‘rocks’ on weekends and public holidays. Lovely old building. Friendly staff and great to sit out on the front balcony , watching the world go by. Check out the antique shop across the road and then head here for lunch

A group of 20 of us had our Christmas breakup at the Marburg Hotel. The food was fabulous and great value. The staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location, with easy parking and an access ramp at the rear.

Old hotel, very basic, shared bathroom, creaky floors, TV that wouldn't work, but if you want to experience a blast from the past, a great place to stay. Great service and friendly helpful staff. Worth a try !!

Stopped off for lunch at this heritage listed hotel. The food was great! Very friendly staff. The town is small and had lots of travellers passing through for a drink on the verandas and back deck. Just off the highway on the way to Toowoomba. Worth a stop for sure.

Fantastic old pub with even better rural Queenslanders. No bs here. Great food. Friendly service. Very nice traditional rooms. Fan only to keep it genuine. The beer is cold and they have an extensive range of craft beers, and yuppy drinks. Even the legendary Zero carb Burleigh Bighead. Fantadtic place for a meal and a yarn.
