We have just returned from a 4 night stay in 7th Heaven - Wow!!! The title of the cabin is true to its name from the personal touches of fresh flowers to the indoor/outdoor bathroom. A peaceful/relaxing stay.

If you are looking for a place that you dont want to leave then the cabins are for you .
From the moment you arrive, the thoughtful little gifts , the beautiful surrounds , and excellent location to the beach and walks make it glad you looked up mullaway beach as a place to stay..
The hosts obviously love what they do , as its done so well.

My husband & I have just returned from a wonderful 6 nights. We booked Gum Tree Cabin which was beautiful and spotlessly clean with the best bed. After one night Roz & Rose rang and offered to move us to their larger cabin Plantation as it was a quiet week. This was also beautiful with the same great bed and a full kitchen which was great with Restaurants being closed. The cabins are so comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Nothing is too much trouble for Roz & Rose and you have total privacy as each cabin isolated and surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens with a short walk to the beach and headlands and only about 7 mins drive into Woolgoolga. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine listening to the ocean and birds which we done each day. I can’t recommend here enough we’ll definitely be back. Both time we visited with our dog (different dog each time) Our first trip was about 5 years ago. The whole setting is beautiful, close to the beach. The cabins have everything you need for a beach getaway. Roz and Rose are lovely, good coffee around the corner, a gorgeous beach that never seems to get crowded Whoopi is only 9 mins away, with great restaurants and a bit of shopping (A huge Woolies too). We had our grown up daughter with us both times too. The 3 of us were fine, though it probably wouldnt really suit 2 couples, as the very spacious bathroom is only accessible via the bedroom. But if you are travelling with kids, even big ones, no problem at all. Enough kitchen stuff to prepare breaky and lunch and a simple dinner if required, but with all the great restuarnts 10-15 mins away, why bother. As much as we loved it, the happiest of all was our Dog, She had the best holiday ever. Do yourself and your pup a favour and have a wonderful holiday here.

We had 2 nights in the ‘Plantation’ cabin and it was an absolutely amazing weekend. The cabins are very clean, the bed super comfortable and everything you need is right there in the kitchen and lounge area to make your stay a ‘home away from home’! So lovely to have such a high quality 100% dog friendly accomodation. It’s sooo close to the beach, where you can spend hours walking and enjoying the relatively deserted coastline. Roz and Rose are delightful hosts and happy to share their knowledge on places to explore close by. We will definitely return here as soon as possible!

We stayed in Plantation and it was a perfect getaway. The house was decked out with all the amenities, plus an outdoor fire pit and BBQ. Full of charm and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable beds either of us have ever slept in. The house (and property) is surrounded by lush tropical plants and gorgeous veggie beds nearby. The short walk to the beach was exactly what we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting Roz and Rose (and Dorothy the dog) and the ladies were warm, helpful and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

On a recent trip to Hervey Bay, we stayed for 2 nights in a cabin at Mullaway. When I booked the only one available was 7th Heaven.It is a 1950's cabin but is set up as a lovely cottage. All you need, even beers, soft drink and a delicious slice on arrival. In the drawers & cupboards, kitchen paper, glad wrap, alfoil,etc. Items you don't ever expect to have supplied. The bathroom I think is much newer and very large. There is an outside shower & big bathtub as well. The area is soooooo quiet, just the sound of the sea, a short walk through the bush on a boardwalk. This cabin is really only for a couple, as it isn't large. Could include a very young baby. There are larger cabins in this group of four. Delightful area, with a short drive to Woolgoolga. Will be back.

Plantation cabin x 2 nights. Absolutely loved it! Dog friendly, walk to beach. Thoughtful touches from owner Roz, cold beer,yummy slice,wood for the fire pit, fresh herbs,freshly ground coffee. Bliss!

I feel I have to vent on this page to make sure others are not let down by the terrible experience we had with this accommodation over Xmas 2024 into the new year. First we paid over $5000 Australian dollars to stay in this dog friendly cabin for 2 weeks. Yes it was Xmas. But the number of problems we encountered has made us so mad for paying this money. We booked through BOOKING.COM The weeks prior to us arriving, we were informed ownership had changed hands. We were asked by the new owners to cancel our Booking.com booking and pay them privately. Which was impossible due to the fact the cancellation period had expired. The previous guests linen was on the clothes line outside for us to remove, fold and store. Ants were everywhere and no spray to get rid of them. No cleaning products, mop or bucket or clothes basket to take washing out to line. Sofa in lounge well past its use by date. And. It suitable to use as a sofa bed. Kitchen plug not working. Shower head would not stay up ..at all. Windows, wooden ones, were not lockable. French doors were not running smoothly and were very difficult to operate. Cabin had not been cleaned for a very very long time…cobwebs and dust galore. Toaster was full of crumbs and ants and had never been cleaned, we never used it. BBQ in garden was a disgrace. To be charged this amount of money is a disgrace. We did send an email to the new owners, and their reply was two free nights accomodation. Excuse me…why would we go back. I see they get five star reviews, so we are at a loss as to why this has bitten us only.

What an undiscovered piece of paradise! If you want to get away from it all- this is the place to go! My husband and I went here for 4 days- which was not long enough. Based in Mullaway down a VERY quiet street- with no street lights, this lovely cabin comfortably slept my husband and I and our miniature schnauzer Ivy. When we arrived, we were delighted to be shown around our cabin- there was fresh local butter, herb butter, milk and baked goodies for our complimentary use, as well as a cupboard full of blankets/towels for the dog! When you open the back door we discovered a lovely grassy area for Ivy to explore, off leash of course (she is pretty well trained!) unfortunately there is no fenced area for the dog, but we just left Ivy inside with a chew when we went out. A few stepping stones outside, and you can find your private outdoor shower. The shower is open and the toilet is under cover. It was a great experience, listening to the waves crash, showering under the stars or in the rain! The beach that is a 1 minute walk away is dog friendly (the sign says on leash but we and many other walkers let their dogs off). Overall we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!
