We stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to KI. All up, it was very good and met all our needs. With its tiled floor, white walls and pleasant view through double glass doors it had a bit of a resort feel. The room was clean and spacious, incl the bathroom, and wifi good. One thing I appreciated was the fluffy towels, something you tend to only see in more upmarket hotels. The room was well provisioned with toaster, microwave oven, as well as new packs of biscuits every day.

This motel was a perfect place for our bus tour group. Just out of Currie in a quiet location. Comfortable bed and cosy room with all the amenities we required. Julie looked after us from meet and greet at the airport to cooked breakfast each morning. I hope management appreciate what a gem she is. The rooms have local artwork featured and the community kitchen allowed us to have a catered meal on the last night to top off a great stay.

Our room was spacious with a view of the sea and the lighthouse. It had modern furnishings and a kitchenette with a microwave. Breakfast was included, also plentiful supllies of tea, coffee and biscuits. The large bathroom had big, soft white towels and all supplies.

Stayed in a Deluxe Motel room. Chose this motel because the room description included a washer and dryer which we thought would be handy. Unfortunately the room description is a tad misleading… there is a guest laundry on site (free of charge) but a short distance away from the motel rooms. The rooms have recently been refurbished and were light, warm and snug. Room looked nice and clean but there was a receipt from the previous guest on the floor under the table so maybe a little slack on the floor cleaning? Bathrooms are new and lovely. Double glass sliding doors open to the rear of the property which offer pleasant views of beautiful King Island. Complementary continental Brekky daily was a nice touch. There is a communal kitchen/bbq/dining area next to Room 10. It’s very well equipped and we enjoyed nightly bbq’s during our stay in the warmth of this fantastic area. The property looks a little tired from the street, but don’t let that put you off. It’s centrally located and a great little motel from which to base yourself for your daily adventures.

We stayed for 2 nights from the 7th December. Motel style accommodation within reasonable walking distance to Currie. Because we stayed early in week most of the restaurants apart from the pub were closed. Had a meal at the pub on the first night and then thought we would cook ourselves for the 2nd night an got steak, coleslaw and other veggies from the supermarket. I have not come across better facilities at any other venue. Fully enclosed heated room with about six tables, with a view looking over to Currie Harbour. Plates, cutlery, oil, and everything you need to cook, with 2 BBQ plates. Exceptional. Good service from the manager also.

We stayed for just one night in a motel unit. Julie was extremely friendly and helpful when we phoned to book, and also on arrival. The room was simple, fresh and comfy. Most important extremely clean! Lovely bathroom, great shower pressure. Continental breakfast provisions supplied with microwave and toaster in rooms. Lovely green lawn area out the front with distant views of lighthouse and water - note rooms with even numbers seem to have beds with views over the ocean, odd numbers over the town. No problems recommending this hotel - I’m fussy and it was lovely.

Neat , clean , modern unit which is cleverly designed to maximize space. Good hot water. Comfy bed. Good kitchen . Location quiet. This is our favorite accommodation in Currie.Reverse cycle heating keeps unit a comfortable temperature in any season

Julie is a truly amazing host, she made us feel wanted, not just another tourist. Accommodation was well thought out and super clean. I would recommend to most, rooms are cleaned daily and everything is topped up including juices. The location is also really convenient.

Stayed in one of the 3- bedroom cabins. Comfortable, well-equipped cabin with an awesome shower and comfy beds with electric blankets! Manager very friendly and helpful - so lovely of her to allow us to stay past checkout to stay out of the extreme wind and rain that graced us on our day of departure until the flight left. Wonderful stay!

Very comfy bed, beautiful room. Great view Good sizebed & room! Friendly staff convenient location plenty of tea &coffee fantastic breakfast tray free WiFi easy to login. Very clean! Quiet location was beautiful listening to the nature and birds around us.
