Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed for only one night at capers cabins and really enjoyed the lovingly made up tiny place with its unique character, sleeping close to nature and a wake up by birds and sun to remember. An awesome experience which we would love to repeat.

What an incredible place to stay. The views are spectacular and the attention to detail in the house was second to none. David and Anne were fantastic hosts with their added personal touches such as added special little treats. Their knowledge and helpful tips of the area were a huge help to make it an even better stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

My partner and I stayed at the Ocean Inlet for our belated Valentine's and I must say, we were super happy with the accommodation. Definitely a romantic get away, close to beaches and amazing views from the balcony (Sunrise in the morning was amazing). Surprising to us, they had provided breakfast ingredients in our fridge to cook as we like. Dave and Anne were most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when we checked in and out. Cute couple getaway accommodation, would definitely suggest couples or a group of 3 for this place. I would love to stay again if time permits.

We had a lovely stay at ocean inlet. It’s very well laid out and Dave and Anne were wonderful hosts providing many useful insights into what to see and do. It’s very close to beach eateries and has great views. You can walk from the b&b to the beach or up to the lighthouse. Views are spectacular and Lorne is only a 25 minute drive.

We loved our stay at The Campers Cabin and Gazebo. A fun and different place to stay, well equipped and with a comfy bed. Views to the coast and Split Point Lighthouse are superb and Dave was very helpful and friendly. A great value stay.

Nice place with friendly owner (not much contact; they value your privacy). room/appertment was fine and equipped with plenty amenities in the kitchen. They provide enough and qualitative good ingredients for breakfast; just make it yourself as you like it. Location is nice on the great ocean road; you actually do not need to drive the whole 200 km; just stay in Aireys Inlet and wonder around to get the feel of it. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for four days at the ocean inlet cabin, well more like a small yurt. With full windows all around, this gives a delightful view,in a clear morning to airey inlet and the lighthouse in the distance. The cabin is separate from the small kitchen and shower/ toilet combo. They are situated at the back of the owners house which also provides additional accommodation at a higher cost. The love swing near the cabin is lovely to,sit on and swing away while having a warm coffee. It was cold of course when we were there. It would be more enjoyable if staying in spring/summer as walking to the bathroom in the wee hours is a bit chilly and inconvenient. Overall though we enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfortable and it was very peaceful and relaxing.

As the title says, we've stayed here many nights with good reason! Our hosts were most welcoming and generous, making us feel right at home immediately. We stayed in 'The Shorehouse' for several nights (for us, an anniversary), which is a double-story house featuring very well thought out and placed furniture and comforts of pretty much anything you can think of. Being tea and coffee drinkers, this was a particular treat, and we had a range of places to enjoy the beverages - the downstairs bay windows, couches, day bed, spa, or sea view balcony. It really was luxurious. Breakfasts are included and if you're happy to cook yourself, it's just perfect as the ingredients are amazing. Add to what is included from the local shops just a minutes drive and you're set for a breakfast you won't quickly forget. The list goes on for all the items in the house carefully selected for your stay, but it is a beautiful place to stay, the view is excellent, everything is comfortable. There's even an outdoor park-bench-length-swing facing the lighthouse. Downstairs features the kitchen, couches, fireplace, tv, bay windows, and upstairs has the bathroom, day bed, bed, spa and TV on a swivel to face both of the last two items! We had an amazingly relaxing time, I cannot wait to go back already. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed! I don't have great photos of the inside, hence not included here, but it's great :)
