Detailed Reviews
Stayed at motel for cheerleader compitition .The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, there are coffee/tea making supplies in the room, free Wifi is a plus. Five minute drive from Homebush Olympic park. Adjacent to main road (Hume highway), but noise was not a problem.
I checked out at 9am and it was quick and efficient. All in all a great stay which exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again.

This Motel was really lovely, as goods any I have stayed in OS. It was very roomy and beautifully furnished and clean. It is on the Old Hume Highway and we expected it to be noisy but was pleasantly surprised as to how quiet it was. We drove to the Strathfield Station and trained it into Sydney, was very east to do and being Seniors only cost $2.50 a day for all transports. would highly recommend. Parking is easy and the staff lovely and helpful.

This is a centrally located motel . The rooms are quite well appointed and have everything you need . Very clean . The staff are very obliging as I often need to check in around 11.00 am never seems to be a problem. The rroom rates are exceptionally good. They have off street parking which is not charged for and offer free wifi.

The “Deluxe Queen Room” is far from deluxe. Definitely not soundproof. You can hear every door close, every time someone goes up or down the access steps.
The shower nearly scolded myself and my partner, it was very difficult to get to a comfortable temperature and once you did it didn’t stay that for long. The water pressure was lacklustre to say the least. The shower would dispel water at a below average pressure and then after about 5 seconds would begin to splutter and then become scolding hot. Then splutter again and return to your chosen temperature and continue to repeat that process for the whole shower. (Note that we did not use the basin tap at all while the shower was running).
All in all, this is not a 4 star hotel. 2-3 at very best.
D I S S A P O I N T E D. D O B E T T E R
Also for those of you this is relevant to, this place is NOT wheelchair accessible WHATSOEVER. Even “ground level” isn’t without a flight of stairs.
As I’m writing this someone just began to have a shower. I’m not a fan of this. There is very loud squealing, send help.
Thank you for listening to my TED talk.

We booked two rooms for our large family. The rooms smelt of cigarettes and were musty. Our rooms were supposed to be serviced and they were not. You could here a couple fighting in the room next door both nights until early morning. Breakfast was fine but we were served milk that curdled in our tea and two day old banana bread. My son is not well after staying here. Staff were friendly but some had very little training in several areas of hospitality and this. Towel rail was also broken.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed :( booked 3 nights for 2 adults.
The rooms weren’t very clean, aircon wasn’t working for the first hour or so on the 38 degree day we arrived, no hot water in the shower, dirty pillowcases, only one towel, the list goes on….
Staff were able to fix most issues but still not recommending this motel to anyone.

Oh dear this place is awful. Extremely unclean, little bugs (maybe fleas?) in the bed and to add insult to injury no hot water after initial 5 seconds of getting into the shower. You will see from my other reviews I always try to find the positives with my reviews but there was just nothing good to mention here. I seriously considered getting up through the night and sleeping in my car as an alternative.

We were put up in this motel for a gig we were performing nearby so I can't comment on price.
First of all, the management staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had no problems there. The new restaurant/conference centre is under construction so things are moving forward. The owners explained they had just taken over so some disrepair can be excused.
Such as, the dated 1970's decor in the rooms. The broken tiles in the bathroom. The dirty walls. All these things must be in line for refurbishment.
Things that need to be fixed right now:
1. Take off the black boards on the windows!! The doors are doubled glassed so noise is already a minimum. If it's for safety, then even more reason not to stay there- employ a security company instead?? The boarded up walls were not only scary, dicey, and depressing (only a little daylight could come in) they are a fire risk! Only one exit out terrified me. Dark dingy rooms yuk. Fix this today! I'd rather look at the blank wall outside or the traffic on the road. Boards are a no no. Your windows are nice. Let them be.
2. Get a laundry service!! Everything was clean. No problems there. But dated worn through thin sheets are creepy. Buy a service today. White, stiff sheets - that's what people are using in overnight accommodation these days. Throw your washing machine away, it is not sterile enough. Your sheets are old, it is not endearing, I would give you one extra star just for the White crisp sheets. Yes, people think it is important.
3. Fix the fire alarm. The one in our room was wrapped in toilet paper. Done by a previous guest? Done by management? I don't know, again, a fire risk. Scary.
4. Please provide a face cloth.
5. Fix the shower head. Forget the plumber- just go to Bunnings, buy one, stick it in!!! Easy job. The shower head lies on the tiles and it is impossible to take a shower. Pathetic.
A good motel = safety, good bed, good shower. You are almost there.
Positives? There were plenty of good things that just got lost because of the above problems.
1. Excellent bed. Great sleep (despite weird sheets).
2. New air conditioner. Worked great. Not too noisy.
3. Clean.
4. Double glazed doors for quiet.
5. Nice staff!
6. Spacious room.
7. Free wi-fi.
Fix the above things and I would give you four stars. Has potential.
Oh, and light switches cost under $10 and can be replaced yourself. Just unscrew the side screws and put a new one on. Takes 10 minutes. Would also make the room look a little more cared for. You can even remove them for your renovations and use them again later at no cost lost. You don't need customers giving bad reviews if you have plans for the better. Fix the little things now!
Parking was terrible, but once renovations are done I'm sure you will have more.
Good luck.

I am writing this in total disgust at the treatment of not only myself but my husband who was in Sydney on business.
I specifically made a booking with my card details to HOLD WITHOUT CHARGE. I spoke to reception who although was seemingly helpful was not upfront about “in house” policies. There was no discussion what so ever that the card was to be charged, I even told him it was my card, NOT my husbands and the numbers on the cards are different although it is a joint account. My husband was to check in this evening. I was told if he arrived after 9:30pm he was able to press a buzzer and finalise paperwork then.
He checked in and was treated rudely and with total disrespect by the supposed “owner” of this family motel! Hah! The money was snatched off the bench despite the payment already being taken off my card without consent! So not only was the payment taken from a card they did not have permission to charge, but the cash also taken for the room so in effect we pay for the room twice??? This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable. It is a ridiculous and I am sure inappropriate practise to take money twice and refuse to return the cash even knowing the payment had been processed on a card previously to check in. In effect I see this as stealing, one or the other, debit the card or take the cash – NOT BOTH.
There was no admission of fault, no apology, no satisfaction what so ever and no customer service. Totally disgraceful and many a person will know how appallingly we have been treated.
To make matter worse, the fridge in the room had old food in it from a previous guest. The carpet has cigarette burns, the lounge is stained and dirty, the tiles have black grout and are in serious need of a good clean. This is by far the WORST motel that my husband has stayed in. We are completely and utterly shocked to be treated this way and if there is a way of us gaining satisfaction for this mistreatment with a higher management level we will certainly be doing so. I would be ashamed to be associated with this motel and any of its owners. Shame on you.

I quite often stay in this motel for business trips I make to Sydney. I work just west of Sydney, so this base provides easy access and parking, instead of staying in close to the city and dealing with the traffic. Always Clean and tidy, with the rooms recently renovated. Friendly staff and a handy morning breakfast service . Good WiFi
