New renovations were good. The service was acceptable. Meal was way below average, Chicken schnitzel & Fish was very dry (overcooked). My Salt & Pepper squid was so oily that I had to place it on a napkin & press the oil out of it & to top it off it was very bland. In my opinion not a lot of pride went into the cooking & presentation of our meals. It confirms to me my lack of enthusiasm to venture there again. You would be better off nipping over to IGA & buying the processed crap & cooking it yourself.

Stayed in the Motel section in one of the garden view rooms. They were very spacious & clean. The actual hotel section looked very good. The meals were excellent, especially the eggs benedict for brekky. Awesome location only 150 metres to the river which had a few nice easy walking paths and close to all the shops for whatever you may need. Had a very relaxing feel about the township. Loved it..

Booked a large table knowing everyone would be coming and going. It was a busy day, lots of other lunch guests. The Hotel staff coped well with multiple orders, COVID restrictions which mean you can’t order drinks at the bar. The meals were well presented and arrived all at once, which was great. Bit bland though and salad was anaemic. It’s winter people, serve winter salads!!

Cannot fault this venue and the value it offers. From the initial phone booking we found the service friendly and helpful. The river view room was very clean and comfortable. The meals in restaurant were lovely using fresh produce served with lovely smiles. We stayed with the stay and play golf package which represented excellent value for money. Great weekend and well worth the stay
