The Tapa Agung View Hotel is a hidden gem and an amazing find. Not only is the hotel newly opened in 2023 but getting a view of Mount Agung from the hotel - be it from the pool area, restaurant or balcony of the room at any time of the day (provided the clouds are not hovering above Mount Agung) is simply majestic and therapeutic. There is no need to hike up the mountain in the wee hours to catch sunrise at Mount Agung as we were lucky to view the sunrise moments from our room balcony. Mount Agung is a spectacular and grand volcano. The staff at the hotel is extremely helpful, friendly and provided great service. I did a 1.5 hours spa massage for two consecutive days by Maria-massage therapist and she kneeded every tired muscle and sore finger joints that made my body feel rejuvenated and relaxed after the massage. The breakfast is superb catering to both local and western tastes. Dinner menu and fresh fruit juices were very delicious, fresh and organic. There are many activities that cater to the more adventurous guests who like river rafting, zipline, and trekking at the nearby sawah padi or Mount Agung or Mount Batur and these activities can be arranged by the hotel staff. Places of interest that include Gates of Heaven Temple, Maha Gangga and Tunas Coffee Plantation are also within the 30 mins journey which allows one to explore the Besakih and Lempuyang area further. I would highly recommend any avid traveler who wants peace, tranquility, therapeutic and clean atmosphere to chill and recharge one's mind and body as well as exciting excursions to stay at Tapa Agung View hotel. This 4 days 3 nights stay for my husband and I is just the beginning of more trips in the future, hopefully to bring my extended family members along on our next visit.

We came to this hotel with a group of friends so that my friend could propose to his girlfriend with a view of the volcano at sunset. A big thank you to the staff for being so polite and helping organize a romantic dinner, making everything top-notch. Spoiler: the girl said yes, and everything went perfectly 😁. I am incredibly grateful to the staff. I also wanted to mention the amazing rooms, the stunning view from the pool, the exquisite cuisine, and the very pleasant location that makes you want to return again and again. I will definitely come back here in the future. I was also happy to see that at the reception, you can book a guide for volcano tours, rafting, and other attractions that are not expensive.

I have read some of the negative reviews about this hotel, and I have to reject them… This is in my opinion one of the best places I’ve stayed at in Bali! The staff is extremely professional, friendly and competent ; customer care and hospitality is number one; the rooms are beautiful… The view is to “die for“… Some people complain about the price of the food… But the price of the food is parallel to the status of the room and the luxury that’s offered… We all know that eating out in Indonesia is not expensive… But when you’re staying at a place that provides you the aesthetics, ambience, Solace, and tranquility in one place (!!!!) that are rare in Ubud and other high traffic areas… This place is a blessing! The room smells like plumeria… Because they lay out those beautiful flowers throughout the room and it’s a welcoming scent; the showers are large and comfortable. They provide accessories that you don’t find in other hotels… The bedding is very comfortable… And the restaurant has pretty good food! There are spa facilities and services that I did not use because it’s not something I like to do. Hence, I can’t give an opinion. OK so let’s talk about price… Granted some of the food items are expensive… But you payfor what you get and in my opinion the food was pretty good. Let me not forget the pool….This is a place that I will return to… the pricing for the room is very competitive. It’s not that far from one of the most sacred sites on the island, Pura Besakih.

Room Tip:There’s ample parking; it may be difficult, getting a “grab“ service because of the distance.

Tapa Agung View is so unique that I'm afraid my review might not do justice to this hotel complex. This beautiful hotel is nestled in a breathtaking natural setting with an almost unreal view of Mount Agung. You're just dazed by the sight that comes your way. The rooms impress with functionality, original furnishings and cleanliness. The staff always stays discreetly in the background and still guards its guests carefully and reads every wish from your lips. The staff of the facility are very warm and accommodating. The food is an absolute treat and meets the highest culinary standards. You should definitely visit this hotel and its great staff. It's going to captivate you. I promise!!

We stayed four nights at Tapa Agung View Hotel, three in Deluxe Room with Agung Mountain View and one night in Standard Room. The view of the mountain (due to the weather only possible at sunrise) was fantastic. The placement of a rental scooter worked without any problems. The breakfast menu offers many different breakfasts. For vegetarians the offer is limited, but for us extra dishes or variations were made. We felt very comfortable here, the staff was very polite and friendly, also responded to our special requests. The location, so surrounded by nature, we enjoyed very much. In about 15 min. walk is a supermarket reachable where the most important things for everyday use are available. Would definitely come back.

This Pension has stunning views of Mount Agung with beautiful tropical nature. Comfortable bedding, but slightly aging room, slightly dirty walls...Hygiene products provided (including toothbrush, razor, small comb...) The pool is superb, the restaurant is suitable certaians dishes are good, the breakfast buffet is a bit average. The staff is very kind. The massages are pleasant but too bad that the room where they are made is not more cozy. Small downside: many small insects go to the restaurant, given the surrounding nature.

Unfortunately we stayed only one night. It was the cleanest hotel I stayed in Bali, everything is well organized and the staff offers a personalized experience. The view is amazing during the fantastic breakfast. The infinity pool is a great add on I recommend

An absolute gem of a spot to find. Resort has amazing view and the staff are just beautiful and welcoming. We were able to walk to the local market and local water hole, very little tourist, made the experience so much better. Booked Mt Batur trek through the resort, it was definitely worth doing. Recommend staying here if you are doing Mt Batur as only 1 hour drive away. Ate babi guling at the local market and shopped for snacks at the mini mart. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort was always done well, local and international options. Thank you so much to Nely, Manis and the rest of the team who looked after us Gila Australians.

New hotel in Besakih with a superb peaceful ambience, book deluxe room and you will get a very beautiful forest view. Perfect place for those of you who are looking for peace from the hustle and bustle. The staffs are very friendly, especially Ratna and Dwi, always accommodating our needs while there. We had left something in the freezer and Ratna immediately helped us to send it via Gojek to Tulamben with a very fast response. Definitely will come back here as soon as possible.
