We stayed in cabin 5 for three nights and really enjoyed watching the changing moods on the fjord and the seabirds all around us. It was quiet except for the weekend when the other cabins filled up. The cabins are clean and basic and all seem to have slightly different layouts. There are two shops within a couple of minutes...

Our own cabin at the end of the road. Cozy place with great Aurora viewing opportunities. You might want to consider bringing your own towels and sheets. They are available, though, at additional price. We've spent hours watching the Aurora around the cabin. The private sauna was a great place to discuss the views, and warm up from the cold....

Even though there is a restaurant on the same pier, it was closed for a private party during our one-nighter. As the only shop in the village is the tank station kiosk, we were pretty much stranded with a hot dog dinner. The cottage was very nice, built on a pier on top of the fjord. Amenities were good. Scenery...

I have never written a negative review on here before but I feel I want to warn other travellers about our experience! Particularly as so many people seem to have had quite a different experience to us. Unfortunately our stay at this place was the worst of our whole Norwegian road trip. Even though we were the only paying guests...

Well, the view would have been nice if there wasn't be the tunnel construction. The bathroom was very small and crowdy. The sauna then... well as a Finn I hope no one thinks all the saunas are like that. But as I said it's okay for one night. It was quite expensive for that we had to clean it up...

We arrived in the dark and struggled to find the cabins due to lack of sign posting. A phone call to the management helped and the keys, as promised, were in the door. The cabin was spacious enough for two. In fact it had 4 beds, and I believe the sofa could be turned into another double bed. If you...

This place is really wonderfull. The location is very beautifull. Expect it to be quiet. If you just want to be in the nature, it's perfect. We've been there in wintertime to see the northern lights and we saw the lights!!! We've been there 5 days and saw the northern lights three nights!! You have to be lucky because you...

My parents and I stayed at the fisherman's cottage for a week in November 2012 in search of the Northern Lights. - We saw the elusive aurora most nights *yay* I couldn't sing enough praise to Radar and his wife (sorry for incorrect spelling Radar). They were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They even drove us to Finland and invited us...

This place is absolutely breathtaking. A warm little haven in the snowy arctic, clean and comfortable and even has a small sauna in the bathroom! The views all around are absolutely indescribable. I went with friends but this would be a really romantic place for a couple!

“We stayed in cabin 5. The cabins are all very close together, some are detached. This means other guests may pass quite close to your window. There is a communal bbq between cabin 4 & 5 so I imagine that in summer you may find other guests having a bbq on what you imagined was your terrace.”
