Stayed here for 6 nights in a spacious 2-bedroom suite for a family of 4 (mom, dad, 2 teens), and we allowed each teen to bring a friend, as we had so much space (therefore we had a total of 6 people). When we booked the reservation, the resort did not charge for daily parking, but they do now (as of 1/1/25). We were not charged the parking fee as our reservation began before that date, thankfully.
The property is very big, with various buildings, pools, and amenities. We took advantage of nearly all it had to offer (golf, restaurants, recreation center with paddleball court, pool table), pools and hot tubs, NYE countdown party, etc. We were assigned a room in golf village near the back of the property, which was quiet, but far from the main pool area (5 minute walk). The pool in golf village was small, so our teens always gravitated to the main pool area where there was more activity.
Overall, the stay was lovely, however, we were assigned a room right next to the elevator, and the loud buzzing sound could be heard throughout our unit everytime the elevator was in use. Another minor issue was housekeeping - they provide it only on specified days (every other day). So, we were eligible to have the room cleaned after our 2nd night. That day it was pouring rain at lunchtime, so we were all in the unit making lunch and put the “do not disturb” sign on the door. After lunch, we removed the sign and left the room so it could be tidied up. Housekeeping never came. When we inquired, we were told they tried to, but the “Do not disturb” sign was up. So they must not try to circle back later in the day? Thankfully after our 4th night, the room was serviced. If housekeeping is important to you, my suggestion is to plan your schedule around the scheduled housekeeping days and ensure you are off-property. Apparently they can come anytime between 10am-6pm. They were prompt with delivering towels (or anything else we needed) to the room during our stay.
With it being a Vacation Club property, of course they tried to convince us to sit through their sales pitch, which we graciously declined. I think we were asked three times. So be prepared for this!

This was our get away from Vermont to Flordia and we stayed here for five days and we absolutely enjoyed the resort The staff that we encountered were always very helpful and kind We stayed in the one bedroom Vila on the golf course and the room was spotless. The balcony overlooked the golf course and pond. No issues with anything in the room. The main village area is busy but not out of control, both pools were clean as were the hot tubs and the sauna. The big screen projector at the pool was nice and at night they have movies on it. The Grill Restaurant on the golf course was really good as was The Grand Cove had really good pizza. The Brewcoast Coffe was excellent with great breakfast burritos. The Marketplace is a small store located in The Village and is a little expensive. I would recommend having groceries delivered or bring in yourself The grounds around the resort are well maintained and clean. The Spa at Grande Vista was excellent and the staff was awesome. The overall experience was awesome.and would recommend the Marriott Grande Vista to anyone visiting the Orlando area.

Excellent Stay So Far. Just checked in 2 days ago. Our flight strived obnoxiously early; this resort happily accommodated us by giving us an amenities key and storing our luggage. (8:00 am). At 11:00am we received a text that our room was ready (5 hours early). Check in took less than 10 minutes. They retrieved our things and we were officially on va-cay! The room is spacious, clean (NO bedbugs whatsoever) and has a nice layout. Beautiful views. There is a small kitchenette WITH dishes and cutlery which is a game changer. Plenty of space, plenty of pool chairs, lots of pools, very cool- different activities for kids and adults. They also offer evening family-friendly activities. Not a huge fan of the way the restaurants are laid out- and they are a little pricey ($4 for a bottle of water)but thats more of a personal preference. Overall- vert impressed and am considering selling my Hilton Vacation Club membership for a Marriotts one. (Oh- and they are NOT pushy about the time-share thing. I haven't been asked once- though I know they are there and where the office is if I choose pursue).

We had a spacious, 3 bedroom unit in this large MVC property. It was our second stay in this type of room and we have stayed in other types of rooms in the past at this resort. The large units are well appointed, quite roomy and very comfortable for midsize family group, or several couples. The I Drive location is convenient to most of the tourist sites and especially so for SeaWorld. The grounds are well maintained and with the pools, golf, tennis and other amenities in the resort, a great vacation could be had without ever leaving the property. Although the initial registration can seem a bit daunting if you arrive during peak hours, they are well organized and will get you settled in fairly quickly.

We spent 13 nights at the Marriott Grand Vista in a 3 bedroom lockoff apartment and had an amazing time. I have to say after reading some of the reviews i was concerned but our experience was only positive and would definitely stay here again. We arrived around 7.30pm on a Friday and the lobby area was busy but they had 4 staff on the front desk so i maybe waited around 5 - 10 minutes. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and helpful and moved our room to a high floor at my request this was no problem at all. We drove to building 100 which was not far at all and the room itself was perfect, clean and spacious. We only used the pool closest to our block which was very quiet but this suited us fine and we enjoyed the relaxing pool time. We had house keeping every other day where they changed towels re made the beds and replenished the toilet paper, dishwasher tablets and coffee. If i had one complaint it would be the cost in the onsite shop for a bottle of water but as its for convenience i guess it's to be expected, we just drove to Publix down the road after day 1. This resort is in a great location for all parks and restaurants and had an Iride stop outside but the hotel driveway is a long walk in the heat.

I had mixed feelings about this place. Our room 3519 in building 83 seemed “weathered” and poorly decorated but the bed was comfortable and we loved the view. The main pool at the village was way too crowded and dirty for me so I spent most of my time at the pool near the Copa Loca. Again while the pool was beautiful it is not maintained well throughout the day. The hotel needs more staff to Pick up the garbage and wet towels left by inconsiderate guests. I did like the Copa Loca for lunch and thought our waitress was wonderful. Finally, the property lacked this hip, classy vibe I felt when going to nearby properties like Cypress Harbor. Therefore I would give my stay a 7 out of 10.

We’ve just returned from 7 days at this resort and we are left feeling disappointed on many fronts. To start our request to be placed close to our family was not accommodated until we asked for a fourth time (we called in advance, requested via email, and spoke to front desk upon our arrival.
When checking in , the concierge desk that you are asked to attend to receive a parking pass then offers a free nights stay and $75 gift card if you attend a 90 min seminar about their vacation club. We hadn’t even settled in and already we were trying to be sold on the vacation club and pressured to attend a meeting the following day at 8am.
After getting to our room , my husband went to shower and realized there was no shampoo, or body wash. He asked housekeeping and was informed she didn’t have any. He then went down to the front desk to request these items only to be told they didn’t have any but that they would send us towels . My husband said towels were not the issue but there was no soap to shower in the first place. My husband went to the concierge to see if they could help only to be told no. At this point my husband asked to cancel the sales pitch meeting for the vacation club the following day as this resort was unable to provide the basic items at any normal resort and the staff weren’t being very helpful , they demanded the $75 gift card back to cancel this meeting . Otherwise we would be charged.
Other issues during the week included a toilet that did not flush properly, and required a new flapper. Every 30 min it would empty itself and fill back up. The drain in the bath tub was clogged and whenever we would shower the bath would fill .
The garbage’s we had to empty ourselves every day and request simple items like a comforter for our child who was sleeping on a pull out . Which didn’t arrive for one full day .
Our toaster was also not functioning.
During the week the big screen at the entertainment pool wasn’t working for the last 4 days of our stay, nor was the music speaker for the water aerobics .
The bbqs beside our building were also not functioning and cordoned off for most of the week leaving us to have to walk to the next buildings area.
Finally the two children in our party both cut their feet in the kids pool on sharp objects, one was so bad it required us to call security for first aid attention.
All this to say we won’t be returning to this resort as we were left very disappointed with the many issues that occurred during our stay.

We were at this resort last month. Not one day did we receive maid service. Every day I would go to the front desk asking about the service. I was told someone would be there the next day. NEVER did this happen. Absolutely ridiculous. I wrote Marriott’s corporate. They never got back to me. Our vacation we vacuumed, made beds, wash dishes, empty garbage, searched for bath towels. Unbelievable experience.

The property is very nice with multiple pools and places to eat. They have a nice 9 hole golf course with reasonable prices. Rooms are very nice. maid service is every other day but in a 7 day stay they only cleaned our room twice. Did have a problem when we were all watching the Army/Navy football game at the central pool TV screen and with 5 minutes left in the game the Marriott manager turned off the game and put a movie on. She told us we could watch the rest of the game in our rooms because she needed to put the movie on the screen now. I was not very happy, at this resort with their sales pitch trying to sale a time shares for only $99,000 for 7000 points and then they tried to sale me 4000 points then 2500 points for $24,000.00 When they made their last offer they said I could never get these prices again because of Florida law which seems to be a lie since they then offered me a package to come back in 6 months and I could buy the timeshare at the same price. It may be an integrity challenge for the Marriott sales team trying to sale time shares..

While the resort is beautiful there are a lot of issues my family had worth our stay. When we checked in we were assured by staff that we were placed in a handicapped accessible room with a roll in shower only to see that this was not the case. We were moved to a new room but the issues still ensued. Staff frequently did not leave towels and washcloths and left a dirty cleaning rag in the bathroom. I felt the online photos of the room were misleading as our balcony was a small box with a dirty screen. Overall, save your time and money as a stay here is not worth it as it is not as handicap friendly as it states and staff service is terrible if yoy aren't a vacation club member.
