Detailed Reviews
We called in at the Aratula Tavern in a spur of the moment decision.
We were one of only two groups.
We were served by a very friendly pleasant young lady and directed into the bistro to order lunch.
The friendly man there convinced me to have a corned beef sandwich?????
Good decision. The sandwich (more like a burger) came with 4 huge slabs of meat and accompaniments
My partner had a double chicken schnitzel which filled his usually large appetite.
Overall the food was very good and the staff were friendly and the establishment clean and tidy.

Amazing good pub feed. Can definitely recommend stopping here. Lunches great value for money, quick friendly service. Clean restrooms and great atmosphere.
Had the rump and chicken schnitzel with chips and salad. 👌🏻

Clean toilets. Great location, just West of Aratula on the way to Cunnigham's Gap or Warwick, Granite Belt.
Great play area for the kids, away from traffic. Shade trees, benches.
Prices good.
We should have come ages ago!
We plan to use this as our regular stop in future!

We came to the pub to watch Scott sing . The food was disgusting . Overcooked and the salad bar was individual bowls you expect to see at subway as they ask you what you want . Awkward to open a sliding door and reach in .
The staff were so rude at the bar . Twice my husband waited whilst locals were served before him . The only nice person was one lady who walked past the table and said hello .... I think she might have been the cook so I’m sorry to say this but I would never attend this establishment again . We drove straight back to peak crossing to our local and apologised for being a traitor and I ate a bag of pork crackles . Because the $6 veggies I asked for were a watery mush in a hot plate that were inedible ...

Located behind the pub is a simple, standard motel. The room had 2 singles, one double. It was clean enough, but had a lot of mould under the bathroom sink and not enough toilet paper was supplied.
Bar staff were nice enough. Free camping also available. This country pub often holds events, but must book a motel room quick as there are only 6 available and they were all booked out

Have visited the hotel’s restaurant many times over the years, with the old management. This last visit was exceptional - very welcoming, attentive staff, totally delicious pizza. Congratulations to the new owners, you have ticked all the boxes. As an extra bonus they are caravan friendly💕

I was pleasantly surprised. For a cheap motel, behind a pub and on the main highway. I half expected my car to get stolen, or some drunk dude to start banging on the door at 2 in the morning. Turns out that the staff were pleasant, helpful and casual about the whole affair.
A container of biscuits was waiting for us (which the kids finished within minutes) new bathroom fixtures and everything was clean. As a place to come back to for a hot shower and heated room after a day of outdoor adventure and exploration with the kids in winter it certainly did the trick.

we stayed at the Aratula and found the beer to be the coldest in the southern hemisphere, a welcome relief from the searing heat that frequents the region over the summer period.Pauly and David said the meals were great and the service A1.the rooms were comfortable and clean.our favourite pub on the planet.

This place is fun and the food is yum. The staff and locals are friendly, and they are more than happy for a chin wag and to let you know what’s happening in the area.
We’ve stopped here a few times and there is so much to see and do in the area, we’ll keep coming back.
Happy hour, live entertainment on Saturday nights, and free overnight parking if you’re in a caravan or motorhome, make this one of the best places to stay.
