You will notice that this hotel is a little dated when you arrive, even more so when you enter a room. While spacious, the textured stucco, velvet furniture, cheap shower curtains, and other low quality touches make this not a great place to stay, particularly for the price. While those things are somewhat forgivable, particularly given the excellent setting along... More

Went on a groupon deal for 2 nights. Nice location on outskirts of Wexford town.5 minute drive to town. Hotel was nice with good leisure facilities. Room was fine overlooking the river, great views. Some nice little touches, free bottled water, complimentary newspaper and on arrival, strawberries marshmallows and chocolate sauce! We ate in the bar first night, food was... More

Stayed here for four nights with a group of work colleagues. The hotel is very well decorated and has beautiful views of the river. We had dinner twice in the bar and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed a three night stay here recently. The food in Reeds Rest was gorgeous, I couldn't fault it. Beautifully presented and served. Mario and the waiting staff were excellent. Can't wait to go back again.

I like the room size as it was big and spacious, lovely bathroom but room itself could do with renovation. TV is from 90's very old and old fashion, floor was very squeaky. I have nice view of lake outside so that was relaxing, some bigger rooms have balconies which must be nice. Breakfast ok, I have taxis organized by... More

Gave 2 night b/b as a gift to my brother and his semi invalid wife. They were treated so well and their every comfort was looked after. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The restaurant served lovely food in very comfortable surroundings. They really enjoyed their short break and would hope to go back

This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff, especially Niamh in reservations and the lady who served us at breakfast. The breakfast was first class and the view from the dining room was breath taking. We only stayed one night but would stay fior longer next time.

I needed somewhere not far from Dublin to chill out and relax for just an overnight stay. Ferrycarrig was just the place to do it. Right from check in all the staff were warm & welcoming. We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious with a brilliant view and the room service breakfast was yummy. Looking forward to staying again in the future. Next time we will bring the kids and try out the leisure centre. Food was very nice at dinner too.

We got married in August and had our reception here. Both in the lead up and on the day itself, the staff were so professional and friendly and put us at ease immediately.
