Waking to the sound of the horses and birds and the sight of the Slaney was magical. Of course what makes a guesthouse good is the people inside it, and the people running this one are charming, helpful, kind and discreet. Our first hotel on our trip from Swansea to Kiinsale for our annual rally,by far the best of all. We stayed here for one night. Beware, this isn't the Ferrycarrig Hotel. This property is on the south side of the river, sort of across from the hotel. Margaret made us very welcome into her home, nothing to much trouble, our room (1) was lovely and large very clean with balcony looking over River Slaney, breakfast was lovely and set you up for the day . Could not fault this B&B and all credit to your hard work Margaret thank you so much will return soon.

Ms Margaret Redmond welcomed us and made my husband and I feel like we were at home. The breakfast she made was AMAZING! The room was very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

This was a great find! The place was well decorated and nicely furnished. It is about a 30 minute walk to town for food and such with beautiful scenery along the way. Ferrycarrig Lodge is a lovely B&B in a lovely location. Margaret the owner is a very friendly lady who couldn't do enough for us. She also gave us some tips for where to have an evening meal which were ideal for our needs. Would highly recommend.

I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Ticked all the boxes as it were, room was spacious and spotless clean. Lovely hot shower and warm room.the location was so beautiful it was also quite and relaxing ( so important to me). The hostess was so friendly and welcoming , breakfast was perfect.
