Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful cottage with breathtaking views of the ocean just across the road. Very well stocked and good amenities. Such a peaceful and quiet area. And great communication with the management. Thank you for the hospitality. It's been lovely.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and located on the eastern coast, it is sheltered from a lot of the weather and it is a very quiet location. So quiet in fact we hardly saw a person, let alone anything else. 25Km from Currie (the CBD, if you can call it that) the cabins are right on the shore of the beach with un-interrupted views of the coastline. The hosts, Sue and Werner, were also visiting at the same time as us and they were very helpful without being intrusive. The cottage is ideally set up to take advantage of the view with double glazed windows all around and a deck out the front to wind away the hours admiring the view. The cottages are very comfortable, warm and inviting with everything you need for either a short stay or even a long one. Be prepared to relax. Satellite TV and a DVD player are provided which helps for some entertainment after dark if you need it. One thing we found out before we went is that the whole island only has Telstra Mobile phone reception, so if you are wanting to get away from it all, that’s great, but if you need phone reception you will need to make arrangements to get a Telstra device for your stay. Sue and Werner have provided a signal booster to make sure you have a good reception in the cottage. We didn't really need the phone, but we would have liked the internet to do some research, but we did that in Currie where there are a few venues that provide free WIFI for visitors. We are the type of people that we like to get the most out of anywhere we visit, so we were busy looking at the fantastic sights all over the island. After we came home we wished we had spent more time doing nothing, and just enjoying the serenity. The island has a large population of Wallaby’s, so be careful driving around, especially at Dawn and Dusk. We will be back.

We stayed in one of these Villas for 3 nights. Very well appointed and clean
I would recommend these Villas
The area is quiet ( deserted) but an easy 30 mins to Currie
King Island is not thriving in fact it’s on its knees
Currie is very flat and empty
The sheep industry is dead and whereas there were 200 diaries there are now 2
The abattoir is closed
Grassy is dead and the Island is currently in drought and pretty sad
We however enjoyed our 3 days there
