This is a basic hotel with an anything-but-basic view. We had a balcony room and it was breath-taking. Breakfast was included and we sat practically under the new bridge. The room was clean, the staff was pleasant, the breakfast was nice. But the 5 stars are definitely for the view!!

The Don Miguel is the perfect place to stay in Ronda. The location can't be beat. We had an incredible view of the gorge and bridge that was simply breath taking. I spent any time in the room on the balcony just taking it all in. The view is not only perfect, the proximity to everything else in town is...

Right in the centre of Ronda, beside the gorge. Bedrooms facing gorge have spectacular view, others overlook quiet side street. Hotel a bit faded and basic, but OK. Reception staff helpful. Private garage available for 12 euros daily - worthwhile. Good buffet breakfast on terrace overlooking gorge in early morning sun. Hotel restaurant less satisfactory; staff harassed and reluctant to...

We had lunch and drinks today , our last day in Spain. The scenery by the bridge is beautiful , it's breathtaking ! Lunch was good , not memorable , but I think the view makes it very special ! Only had mixed tapas and tinto verano , typical drink for Spain . Definitely recommended it for the beautiful view...

A great hotel situated right on the gorge. First room we were given was not on the gorge view side and small and a little noisy from traffic in the narrow cobbled street. We managed to get an upgrade to a larger room overlooking the gorge the next morning and even though we're told there was an extra charge the...

Hotel - good, hotel location SUPER! Ensure when you make your reservation to ask for a room bridge/valley view. Room was average/comfy. Clerks very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. Bar area amazing views. As they say location location location. You can easily walk to all major sites and eats. Behind the bull ring (a must visit) you will find...

The Hotel Don Miguel does not offer the last word in dining. It is after all slap bang in the middle of the Ronda tourist trap and as such it's meals tend to be a little tourist oriented. However I have a rather soft spot for it. If you can get a table in the shade with a view of...

Back to the Don Miguel for the third time. Fantastic to get the room with the balcony overlooking the gorge. And to overlook the birds flying and nesting. The receptionist was excellent and could not have been more helpful; showed us to the garage a hundred yards away at a reasonable 18 Euros a day, then happily took me back...
