Palm Lodge is a backpacker style accommodation with separate rooms and a shared kitchen/living area. The option to cook your own meals or Asunda can cook for you in the restaraunt, breakfast included in the nightly price! There is also a bungalow located close by which would be a great option for more privacy. I really enjoyed my stay and...

This is a lovely choice of accommodation offered by a friendly family that live a stones throw away. It is clean even offers WIFI and complimentary breakfast. Most notably, the family do whatever they can to help you have an amazing time on Malekula; from helping to book activities and even cooking dinner for you when you forget that the...

Our room at Palm Lodge was spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional artefacts. Bathroom had shower open to the sky - magic! Bungalow looked onto a lovely garden with chickens scratching about. Hosts Asunda and Jack were so helpful and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast always featured fresh local fruit - pawpaw, pineapple, bananas. Good location for trips to Lakatoro...

Had a fantastic stay at Lakatoro Palm Lodge. Warm, friendly inviting hosts and were so accommodating especially given that our travel plans kept changing. Comfortable bungalow that was private, clean and tidy.

Asunda and Jack have created a wonderful travel lodge and bungalow built in the 'traditional' vanuatu style. The lodge itself has 3 rooms a sitting area and a small kitchen with an adjoining bathroom. Great for work trips, groups or families. There is a separate bungalow with its own bathroom close by which I highly recommend for travelling couples. The...

The bungalows here are beautifully set up - made from local materials, clean, spacious, with comfortable beds and gorgeous tropical gardens. Staying here was relaxing and lovely. The food was delicious, and the owners, Jack and Asunda Roy, and friendly, hospitable and helpful. This is a real haven.

Palm lodge in Lakatoro offers the traveller a more traditional accommodation experience but with flush loo shower and solar lighting. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Jack and Assunda standalone lodge in their lovely garden. It is spacious and comfortable and well appointed. Their breakfast were delicious and the evening meal of their traditional food lap lap was not to missed....

What a find! A person who had travelled to Malekula for work recommended these bungalows. I went for four days on the spur of the moment, and had the most marvellous time. Asunta and Jack Roy are the owners, and they treat you like a friend. There is one bungalow with three separate rooms for guests connected to the kitchen/lounge...
