We went to the open farm which is open on a Friday and Saturday 1 - 6pm during March - October. We all had a great time and the highlight was definitely holding and feeding the baby meg lambs - they were really cute ! Even Mum very much enjoyed her first experience of bottle feeding a baby lamb. Staff...

Perfectly located, this is the most interesting farm stay we've ever enjoyed and the warmest hospitality we've ever experienced! There are wonderful walks from the farm - up to the tower on the top of Corrins Hill or down to Peel Castle or along the coast path to Glen Maye - with fantastic views in all directions. Life on the...

I am so pleased you enjoyed yourselves! We have had a fantastic response to our new Cafe and Open Farm days, which complement our tourist accommodation very well, all our guests are enjoying increased access to the animals as well. Hope to see you often over the summer.

This was our first visit to The Isle of Man, and Knockaloe Beg Farm is in one of the most attractive parts of the Island. Fiona and John are hard-working, attentive hosts, and we felt very welcome – nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts are varied and excellent (Fiona’s home-made sausages are very tasty). The room was spotless, warm...

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend bed and breakfast break at Knockaloe Beg Farm near Peel. Our bedroom enjoyed marvellous views towards Greeba mountain and the north of the island. It is well placed for walks up Peel Hill as well as the long distant coastal paths. We were made to feel most comfortable and almost part of the family....

My fiance and I stayed in one of the Wigwams for 3 nights (27 - 30th Jan) as it was my fiance's birthday. The cabin style accommodation was very tidy, environmentally friendly and lovely and warm. Despite the windy weather we managed to get the hot tub going and had a wonderful relaxing break. The accommodation was spotless, warm and...

We stayed on Knockaloe Beg Farm for 10 days in August 2015. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome, and if anything this just got warmer as the holiday went on. We took the budget option of the Bunk barn, which was great for our family of 5 (children aged 13, 11, and 9). As described...

A very bad experience which ruined our holiday. Arrived very late on a stormy night to discover that there was no heating or hot water so spent the night in the B&B for which we were charged £90. The cottage had not been cleaned prior to our arrival including the toilets, it had obviously not been used for some time....

I am really sorry you found your stay in The Byre so disappointing. I had been in the day before to check the heating was on and also 3 hours before your arrival when I went in to light the fire for you. I am sorry you thought you had to pay for the logs, we provide a full basket...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Knockaloe Beg Farm was rebuilt in 2007 as a modern, energy efficient building with a traditional feel. It has 5 en-suite double or twin bedrooms and a lovely private guest lounge with wood burning stove. It is part of our working farm where we milk 200 cows and breed from 800 ewes so lambing time is very busy and exciting! Our bedrooms all have really comfy, super king sized, zip and link beds with goose down duvets and large showers or baths. Breakfasts have gained a 'Breakfast Award' for being high quality as well as local, homemade, fairtrade or organic. We pride ourselves on our environmental awareness. The house is up a private farm lane so is very quiet with stunning views across open countryside and only a 20 minute walk to the sea. ... more   less
