My husband and I enjoyed a thoroughly wonderful afternoon and evening at Lamberden Cottage. We arrived after a long day of driving and sightseeing and were warmly welcomed by Beverley and Branton. Tea in their lovely garden was the perfect way to unwind and we enjoyed hearing from Branton how the garden has been a labor of love over many...

Just had three perfect days in this area thanks to the first-class bed and breakfast accommodation and the warm welcome from Bev and Brant Screeton. Good quality bed-linens, comfortable bed, great breakfasts and ......a Paradise for a garden - tranquil and beautiful. Must go again! Sissinghurst nearby, close to Rye ..so much to see around here

I stayed one night at Lamberden Cottage as I was in the area for a friend's wedding. The room I stayed in had everything I needed, very comfortable and had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside! The owners were so hospitable and really made me feel welcome in their home (the breakfast was also amazing!!). If you visit don't forget...

We booked both rooms for our family to celebrate a Birthday! The Screetons are very kind and so accommodating. We had a very memorable weekend. The double room with bathroom is bliss...to have a bath was wonderful. The twin room is lovely as well with an extra room for children if needed.

A real find - tho a bit hard to find - this place is wonderful. Brant and Beverly make you feel like family. Charming upstairs bedroom with circus bedroom adjoining, beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings. They even provided tea on our arrival. Breakfast was huge with home grown rasberries. We'd go again....wish it were closer!
