Great location, short walk to beach and not far from eateries etc. we loved the tent and even with the crazy weather it was weather proof and comfy! Loved the special little details like fresh flowers. The bed was so comfy and the sheets eye very clean. The bathroom was good and extra toilet and shower were in the common...

My husband and I spent two nights at Fossil Bay Lodge to start our honeymoon trip around the North Island. We stayed in one of the lotus belle tents. It was amazing and just what we needed after a very long plane ride. The tent was beautiful and very private. The bed was comfortable. It was great to have access...

For the third year in a row we have stayed at Fossil Bay Lodge and once again we have found it to be the best place for price to stay on Waiheke. We always stay in the tents / yurts and this summer all four have been replaced with newer models so are crisp and clean. We like to stay...

Superb, you can't find any other better place for your last days. It's made so lovely and delicate with such a passion for generating a real holiday feeling. An old farm area whereon a former green house serves as kitchen and social room. Mike is such a great and helpful host and comes around whenever you need something. Highly highly...

We loved staying in the apartment at Fossil Bay Lodge. The view from the windows out through trees was worth a million dollars. The high pitched roof and subtle retro vibe were very cool. It was a huge open plan space - the size of 3 hotel rooms - with a full kitchen (very functional), dining area, couch, queen-sized bed...

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in one of the belle tents and absolutely loved it. We were in tent #1 which was very private and had a table & chairs outside to relax. The tent was spacious enough for all of our belongings and then some. Kitchen & shared space are good & there is space in...

Great spot to be with nice, clean rooms in a outside lodge style. Big well arranged shared kitchen, only one toilet and shower to share but well kept. Staff were great and helpful, run by a good Kiwi family. Location was 5 minute walk to the beach.

A friend and I recently took our first trip to Waiheke and were blown away by the hospitality at Fossil Bay. We had come to explore the island, to stop in at a winery or two and to spend some time in relaxed ease. We were not disappointed! From our casual welcome to the accommodation itself and the genuine conversations...

We love glamping so naturally we loved this place. We stayed in a large belle tent and were blown away about how much it felt like a real hotel room. We lacked nothing and showering in our little outhouse was a welcome adventure. We were never cold (and some of the nights were still frosty). The whole place felt like...

We stayed in a small belle lotus canvas tent. This venue has several options for your stay, small cabins, glamping lotus belle tents and an appartment. There is a fully equiped communal kitchen with large dining table and an adjoining conservatory with couches. The main building is probably the original homestead, a humble building possibly 100 years old. Furinishings are...
