After having read the previous reviews on this website I do agree on some points. If your expecting 5 star luxury with airco and outstanding service don't go here. Calling it a boutique hotel is maybe not the right description; I liked the highend safari-lodge decription better But if your in for some total relaxation far away from everything and...

This past February I visited Colombia and spent a week at Koralia. I was traveling with friends and also met some new friends while I was there. In a nutshell, I had a super fun time; I absolutely loved everything about Koralia and cannot wait to go back! Next time I go I would like to spend more time...perhaps three...

I went to Koralia to visit with friends for 3 days. The place is nestled amongst an old coconut plantation, with swaying palms towering 70 feet above the scattered bungalows. There is a massive white sand beach that stretches in both directions, and lush jungle covered mountains as a backdrop. One sunrise, we were able to see snow capped peaks...

I decided to go to Koralia with high expectations. But unfortunately the experience was not good at all. The place is NOT a destination SPA, is NOT an eco lodge, its only a very expensive cabana with restaurant service. Its very sad because the place has a lot of potencial but the owners only care for the money, they don't...

If i could sum up Playa Korilia in one word it would be 'underwhelming'. Fortunately for my wife and I we were travelling in the area in Colombia when we stumbled upon the lovely website for Koralia and fortunately hadnt come far just to stay there. It would seem that the owners care more about getting people through the doors...

Despite what it claims on the website Koralia is NOT a boutique hotel. The setting and the cabañas are indeed lovely, however, the service leaves much to be desired. The food is pretty basic, the bar and communal area were closed as we happened to arrive slightly off season (note, there is no price difference!). The surrounding landscape is very...

Hola Froese Since your visit we have changed to describing ourselves as a Nature Hotel. In 2008 the concept of boutique hotel started to change to white glove, gloss and society. We realized that we were not that and did not want to deceive people. Also since your visit there have been major upgrades to service, bar, dining, rooms, etc...

Privacy is found as the ocean breaks on the beach and you are the only one to witness its fall. Playa Koralia gives you that experience and more, one hour away from Santa Marta (Colombia). Time stops as nature defines each space; sand, paradise, sea, fresh water, palms, light & shade.
