Great surprise and value for money. We needed a late check in arriving late in the night. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and water pressure perfect. Everything you’ll need or want. The downside is it’s an older building could use a facelift but for the price it’s perfect. We needed a clean bed and hot shower. Big tick.
Easy to find, right off the highway. Situated across the road from a lovely hotel with great meals. Staff are very friendly, The room was very clean and well maintained. a full size fridge and microwave was greatly appreciated
Place was overall neglected, very noisy, carpets were filthy and need upgrading. Not a pleasant place to stay, was glad to get out first thing in the morning. I am not fussy but I expect basic standards to apply.
Arrived at our room the bathroom walls are dirty didn’t say anything then woke up walked out of our room and there was dog pooh on the floor right out side our door. Go to take our key back to reception waited ten minutes ended up having to call reception and ask if any one was there was told by a cranky Indian lady to push the door bell I told her I had been for over ten minutes now upon awaiting for my bond to be refunded I told the reception lady that there was dog Pooh outside our room to then be asked by the cranky Indian lady what do you want me to do about it ! Absolutely appalling will not be back
Where to start. Firstly, let me say that I'm not a fussy traveller, I don't mind if a place is old and doesn't have modern furnishings and fixtures but I do mind when it's not clean. Our room had white marks on the carpet, who knows what the substance was. I felt like i needed my shoes on at all times. The tv was a challenge to get working, the remote had no back a major hazard for a toddler who was playing with with the batteries. The bathroom had a stale sewerage smell. I was almost happy to forfeit my money and stay elsewhere, luckily we only booked 1 night which i tolerated, just.
Staff were amazing great room, great food, wonderful spread for breakfast. Room was clean, quite, plenty of room in the room. Buffet Breakfast at a reasonable price, Dinner was wonderful and great price, with a relaxing atmosphere.
We are staying here for almost a week. The first "apartment" was old and run down and had stairs. No mention of stairs when the booking was mafe. When we spoke to them regarding mobility issues with 2 of the 3 adults we where given a disabled a room at an additional cost. The bathroom door was broken and had to be fixed so the door would close. My mother in law had to put a bin behind the door to shower on the first night. The master room top cover has what looks like a cigarette burn in it. Our room has been serviced 3 times already and still the burnt top cover remains.
I stayed for 5 nights and the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. Cheap drinks at the bar if you like a night cap and meals nice too. I will stay here again when I am in Sydney for work next.
Dear Mark, Ali and the team at Country Comfort. Thank you for a great experience in April, when the under 15 hockey team stayed at your property. We were all really well looked after. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We loved using the pool and the tennis courts - the facilities were exactly what we needed! We look forward to seeing you again. Best, Alex and the U15 hockey team.
This hotel is quite large and spread out. I was staying as part of a group and it was adequate. Only laundry facilities in the larger apartments with communal laundry facilities available for the rest of the occupants. The wifi was patchy and although there were plenty of access points available, connectivity was very patchy and slow to non-existent. Adequate free wifi was available in reception. Some of the rooms are quite old but very adequate. The pool was great and the other amenities were great (tennis court).
