Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed over night before trip to Western Sydney Zoo, 7 minutes away and across the road from Eastern Creek Raceway.
Rooms are basic but clean, receptionist was helpful and obliging, made us feel welcome.

On site bistro was excellent for dinner, food was delicious and the staff great.

Breakfast was a basic buffet but tasty and again staff were really helpful and obliging.

On site parking was available at no additional charge, although in open air it was well lit and very close to main entrance.

Would definitely stay again.

Really good location as I traveled for work at Wetherill Park, staff were really lovely upon arrival and when ordering meals each night.
Only negatives I had were with house keeping and the cleanliness of the room (143)
The toilet was disgusting on arrival, the shower had black mould throughout it. I had to buy toilet paper as that was not replaced during my 5 night stay, coffee and milk was not replaced during my stay which was very disappointing for what paid for the week, in room dining was very good quality and very well priced. All in all with a few improvements from house keeping this could be a very good hotel.

After a planned overnight stay was derailed at the last minute by illness we asked for the now unrefundable booking to be changed to the following week. A huge thanks to the lovely very helpful Taylor who was able to make this happen despite hassles from Hotels.com. The stay was excellent on every level and we will becoming back!!

Stayed here and wished we had not. Clearly stated at time of booking that I was Gluten free. My friend paid the $50 each for breakfast the next morning to find they had not GF bread in their freezer. Also room was really basic and for 209 per night I would expect 2 pillows on the bed and a little shampoo and or conditioner but no just bath gel dispenser. One good thing - this motel is right next to two motorways and soundproofing worked.

One thing they choose not to tell you when you book a 2 night weekend stay Saturday and Sunday, that there is no housekeeping on Sunday, so bad luck if the room needs doing of the towels neec changing you have to actually go down to reception and ask for clean towels.
Still charge you same rate but not the same standard. Very poor indeed

Positives: Foyer looked nice and the receptionist was friendly.
Negatives: Everything else.

The filth begins once you leave the foyer… The skirting boards (where the wall meets the floor) in the hallway looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since they opened the hotel. The skirting in the room was a lot worse. It was like they had vacuumed the floor then emptied the contents of the vacuum cleaner against the wall.

The entry to the room was nothing like the photos. It was dark and seedy with no sign of it actually being a hotel room until you turn the corner and realise they may actually rent the room by the hour. It looked like a porn set minus the cameras, although if I had have looked hard enough, I may have found the indentations of tripods in the carpet.

The room where they cleaned themselves between takes (the bathroom) had not been cleaned after filming had finished.

Now to reply to the the generic reply below from the hotel management…
This IS a common experience for guests dating back many years by the looks of the 1 star reviews.
CLEAN THE ROOMS!! Even once a year would be better then never!! And update your room photos to truly reflect what the hotel is currently like.

My advice:
Save your money and find yourself a park bench to sleep on before you rent a room here. Just make sure you have a newspaper to lay down over the pigeon poop.

Disclaimer: This has been my experience and is my opinion!! Others giving more then 1 star may love filth and that’s their right.

How this hotel can rate 4 & 1/2 star is beyond both my wife and I. When we checked into our room we could not turn on the bed lights, after failing to find any switch that worked we discovered they were not even plugged in.
We then went to make a cup of tea to settle us down after a long drive, surprise only one cup in the room. Then discovered that any cup of tea of coffee was going to be impossible to make, the room had no kettle.
It was also surprising to find that a hotel that rated that high did not have mattress protectors only a single sheet between the mattress and the guest. Similarly to only have a single pillow for each guest falls far short of a hotel of this rating.
I did take time on checkout to raise my concerns with the Food and Beverage manager who arranged for the Hotel manager to call me to discuss my concerns.
I did receive the call and apologies, and that was all. Not good enough

Poor accommodation. Beds uncomfortable, stains on carpets, urine on toilet under seat as clearly not cleaned properly, exhaust fan in bathroom extremely dirty. We left some clothes in bathroom, our fault but have made two phone calls chasing and having been told will return calls still heard nothing a week later. Terrible customer service and will not stay again or recommend.

Overpriced.just because the hotel is near the racetrack doesn't justify then to charge the prices they charge .happy hour is 5-6pm but the bar doesn't open until 6pm Sunday !.how stupid is that ?
$9 for a stubby of tooheys, rip off central .
The heating didn't work properly and the room was cold although it was set on 27degrees it took 1 2hours to warm up .
The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor no matter what position you put the shower head .I had to mop up the water with the bathmat and it was filthy after .they obviously don't mop the bathroom floor very well ..there are a lot better options not very far away then this place .also another minor thing is that they advertise Carlton draught on tap, signs everywhere but this is a lie like happy hour ! Not happy ,not ever staying here again !

How much is breakfast?

Hello. From the hotel to Parramatta Park it is about a 20 minute drive. If you were to use public transport you would need to catch a train from Blacktown station to Parramatta Station and the walk. I would say driving or a taxi would be best.
Answer from Anthony C

This hotel is absolutely miles from the CBD. Public transport is minimal and will take hours to get into town (you'd hardly call Eastern Creek or any of the far west as part of Sydney in reality). If wanting to enjoy real Sydney then look to stay CBD, North Sydney or Eastern Suburbs.... Cambridge Hotel in Surry Hills is good value and very handy to enjoy all Sydney has to offer by foot or public transport...see reviews on Tripadvisor

Hi Ricky Our carpark is open air with security cameras. If you are concerned I always suggest parking at the rear of the hotel has it can't be seen from either street side. Saying this we have never had an issue. If I can assist further please let me know.
