We just came back from our trip to Morocco. We booked our camel trek through Haven La Chance and we had an amazing time both on the trek and in Merzouga. At Haven La Chance, Hassan made us feel extremely welcome and at home. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had an amazing time on the camel trek and...

3 of us stayed at Haven La Chance in mid-June. We spent 1 night at the hotel and did 1 overnight in the desert via camel. If you are considering Morocco or just considering traveling that far, it was the best part of the trip for me. However, it was very hot; luckily, Elena, the owner, suggested we sleep under...

We were in Merzouga for two nights this past March. We were travelling with our two kids ages 11 and 14. We had booked our trip to Morocco with Blue Men of Morocco and they run Haven La Chance in Merzouga. We loved our whole trip to Morocco (particularly our driver Zaid). We found Abraham and the others who worked...

We stayed here for 2 nights as a triple set up. Second stop on a 5 city stay in morocco. The moment we near merzouga the dominating sand dunes set an imposing scene and the hotel was nearer to dunes than we expected. We received such a warm wlecome from Omar who said he was in charge of the place...

Staying here from Dec. 15th to Dec. 17th 2006 for watching the "Water Of Life" - concert of Jean MIchel Jarre and it was a new, but great experience. Meet very friendly people and learn to know the traditional food of Morocco in a very good quality. For visitors, that like it more traditional, berber tents in the garden available....

We travelled to Merzouga for the concert by Jean Michel Jarre in the Sahara Desert. As someone accustomed to "comfortable" travel, I must admit to travelling with some trepidation. We booked our transport from Ouarzazate and hotel accommodation in Merzouga via Blue Men (owners of this hotel). The driver (Zaid) arrived promptly in a comfortable 4x4 and drove us for...

I was there for the (fantastic!) Jean Michel Jarre "Water for Life" concert of 16 December 2006. The hotel is just great. I had a double room with AC power, hot shower and a regular (western) toilet. It was a basic room (no heating) but that was never a problem for me. The room was clean, large enough, the bed...

We were pleased to have planned our two week holiday to Morocco with Blue Men of Morocco. Once I found the website, I knew Elena would plan the kind of trip we wanted to experience. Part of our itinerary was to spend the night under the stars in the Sahara desert in the beautiful Erg Chebbie dunes. We drove to...

Sunrise over the dunes is even more beautiful than the sunset, however the sunset brings in the refreshing evening breeze. All the clichés about lunar landscapes, the myriad of colour and the intrinsic beauty of the Sahara can be seen from the la Chance Hotel in Hassil Bed. The hotel la Chance is a very calm and quiet place to...

We (Gene and Janice) just returned from a 15-day tour of Morocco. We made the entire circuit - Marrakesh, Essaouria, Ourika Valley and a Berber market, Quarzazate (where "Lawrence of Arabia" was filmed), Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge, Mergouza, Erg Chebbie, Fez, Volubilis, Meknes, Rabat and Casablanca. It was our best vacation ever. We had placed ourselves in the hands of...
