Overall a pleasant experience. The restaurant we found expensive but the service in the café bar was first class. The location is away from the modern town if you want to do any shopping and a stranger, like us would need a taxi as parking would be an unknown quantity. The walk from the Parador over the footbridge to the...

This parador is well located, and reasonably comfortable. We found the dining room a bit erratic and expensive, and the staff a bit harried. It is not cheap but on the whole it was a pleasant experience. We have stayed in much nicer paradores.

The rooms are cozy and nice, and the view is breathtaking. The town is cute- but maybe not to cute from your point of view when you are crossing the massive gorge on a rickety bridge to get into the town! A couple of notes- service was wonderful. Very expensive. The doors to the rooms were hard to open for...

Great location. Poor cleanliness in the room. The bathroom had a loose tap. The room had not been cleaned and there was no toilet paper left in the bathroom. We had to ask housekeeping for a roll. Sleep quality was good.

The hotel is one of the best options (if not the best) for its location just across the bridge from the famous Casas Colgadas but if you want to enjoy the view be prepared to pay extra 30 euros for a superior room. The normal rates displayed on most of the reservation websites are for the standard room with views...

We really loved this Old convent turned into a hotel. The building was full of history. Our room was spacious with amazing views across the hills and country side. The regional restaurant was excellent and really enjoyed eating here, both breakfast and dinner.

As new "Amigos" to the Parador chain we were really looking forward to visiting this Parador. The location is amazing perched on the cliff face looking across the gorge to the ancient village. The hotel is beautifully presented and the room quite good. The only comment about the room was the lack of a desk for the computer. Dinner was...

We did not believe it when we arrived. It was everything that had been written about it. Although the hotel was very busy we were looked after very well. The room was big and had amazing views, not of the old town, but across the hills and country side. We had dinner and breakfast, both being very good. Our only...

I didn't stay but went twice for lunch in the café in the cloisters. It is peaceful and extraordinary. The goats cheese salad with walnuts and mango was very good. The churros and chocolate was excellent too!

One night would have been enough to see Cuenca. We enjoyed the views from our room, and the bar area was affordable and convenient. We had intended to visit other spots in the area, but we ran into rainy weather on the days we had booked. The dining room here is probably the best for this town, but we wanted...
