The Parador, like many Spanish Paradors, is in a beautiful building, centrally located in Zamora. Arriving after a long journey we found finding the Parador quite stressful as the streets leading to it are tiny and the street signs not obvious. The hotel apparently has a few parking spaces but these were all full while we were there so we...

Super location right in the old city. Garmin got us there without a problem. Rooms are luxurious with crisp and absolutely spotless linen. The only downside is that the bathrooms need either a good scrub and clean or a total makeover. Dirty bathrooms at any establishment leaves a bad taste - it's not fair on your paying guests ! Deserving...

Visited here by train from Madrid - just a short taxi ride from the station. Not a particularly smiling welcome from the reception staff but the hotel is a lovely old building with the usual Parador look and feel with lots of wood and stone floors etc. Very comfortable bed and the usual well appointed Parador bathroom with his/hers sinks....

Excellent hotel which I love revisiting. I5t is like going back in time especially in the Public Rooms yet with first class modern facilities. I have stayed in both the more modern bedroom block and also the older more atmospheric bedrooms and have enjoyed both tremendously. However I stayed once in the older rooms when a summer wedding was being...

We stayed only one night as part of a tour of Paradors and Pousadas, very comfortable and helpful. It really is quite quirky, set around a central courtyard and was once a fortress. The historic centre is really interesting although most of the churches and cathedrals were closed.

We had a lovely two night stay in this parador in a historic building. Excellent breakfast. Helpful reception who told us about discounted parking in a public parking garage nearby for 12 euros per day. They spoke good English. Excellent breakfast. We had dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant Agape in Plaza Mayor nearby. We had evening drinks on a...

This parador is right in the middle of the old part of the city and acts as a great base to explore from. The disadvantage is that's a bit difficult to get to and parking is extremely limited. We made the mistake of not paying an extra 18 euros a night for the hotel parking and by the time we...

The hotel was very nice. Our room was average, mostly because the one we were given faced the street. This is Spain. When we arrived around 5:30 pm, there was barely a soul in town. Starting about 8:00 pm people started appearing until the streets and restaurants were filled by 10:00 pm. They also stayed up until all hours of...
