Altho Roses can be tricky to get to (in our case train from Perpignan to Figueres, then bus from Figueres) but its worth it and the Victoria is a good 3* hotel. Rooms are smallish but kept scrupulously clean by excellent maids, try asking for the west side of the hotel which gets the evening sun (or the more expensive...

My friend and I stayed in room 419 which gets the very last of the sunshine each day. It also benefits from being at the end of the corridor meaning it is quieter and the balcony only has one neighbour. The room was tight but as you only sleep there so not an issue. The hotel is showing a little...

Lovely hotel, fantastic location right on the beach, very clean hotel, clean towels every day. Maid service daily. Mostly French/Spanish guests, not many English. Food was lovely, plenty of it and something different every evening - various hot dishes including pork, chicken, fish, sausages, pizza, meatballs, pasta with sauces etc, various cold salads etc and plenty of puddings to choose...

The hotel is showing its age and could do with some tlc. Staff responded to enquiries but were not forthcoming, no warm welcoming smile on arrival. The exception was room cleaning which was quick and good. There was no folder of local information in my room and when I asked at reception was shown a loose leaf folder containing some...

We booked this place for 2 nights on our visit to Costa Brava. Very centrally located to all restaurants and beach this place is convenient for everyone. Our rooms were standard and had balconies with a sea view which was a plus. Hotel has a fully functional Spa, indoor & outdoor swimming pool & sauna which is well maintained and...

The hotel is OK. We booked a double room with 3 beds and, althougth the 3rd bed was not ready, it was solved quickly. I think there was a mistake with it because the room was OK for 2 but a bit small for 3 and the bathroom definetively too small. We had free WIFI at the room because we...

Very nice hotel! the beach was just in front of the hotel. It's a 20min walk to the center of Roses. - The room was quiet, with nice terrace, double bed. Everything was there. room was large enough for us. - We had half board. Food was nice. Cereals in the morning were not good, but all the other food...

Terrible service, no easy parking and rude manager. We booked 3 double bedrooms through hotels.com. When we reached, hotel staff asked us to pay 220euro extra as this double bedroom got booked for one person. I reminded them that after booking, we called them and confirmed in 6 people. But they were not ready to listen. Somehow we checked in...

We sincerely regret that your stay was also disappointing. Indeed, there was a rate error on the part of the agency with which you have booked and therefore reception staff had this doubt about the supplement. The lack of delicacy isn't normal and unacceptable in our institutions. That is why we are sincerely sorry for this incident. We will review...
