Well located, clean hotel. A true Marriott. Front desk Ms. Ana was very helpful and hospitable. Good breakfast with tasty food and friendly staff. Many nearby restaurants. Only problem was air conditioning not cooling enough at our Room. We reported it. Would certainly stay again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, rooms all well maintained. Great Air con and Wi-fi.
The hotel is situated the other side of the main town of Badajoz. It’s a 20 min walk across the river. However there are a few restaurants and bars nearby. We took a taxi to the town.
When we asked what time the bar was open, they said it’s closed at weekends even to residents!! Breakfast was poor and expensive. Went elsewhere in the end.
After a long motorbike ride across Spain, the first thing we all wanted was to relax with a beer, however we had to go elsewhere, unheard of in a hotel!
We were given rooms right opposite a function room, therefore no peace until midnight. You would of thought you would be given guests rooms elsewhere first. Bit disappointing to be fair.
Will be back to Badajoz, but another hotel unless it’s Monday to Friday when they actually have a bar.

Good location close to casino, shops and restaurants. Smooth check in, nice clean large wheelchair accessible room. Only issue was shower had large lip to get in. Well stocked breakfast and very convenient to have parking in the basement.

Stopover on our way to the Algarve. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes walk along the river to the historic city centre. Many restaurants and some shops around. Free parking outside the hotel. Friendly staff. Room with 3 single beds (no rooms with one double and one single bed). Bathroom with bathtub (more and more rare these days). Breakfast offerings were OK. All by all, a nice hotel, well situated for a city trip or transit to the Algarve...

Rooms should have bettet sound insulation. Modern rooms with good beds.

Five-night stay in Badajoz at this really good hotel: friendly and helpful staff, very clean and located in a nice area. From the hotel an easy walk to the banks of Guadiana and the old city that I enjoyed very much. The breakfast is good as well and offered at the right price. Gracias!!

.Lovely hotel, staff are excellent, very disable friendly. We stayed here on the way to Alvor and on the way back, we will use this hotel again on our next adventure. The room was spacious and clean, food was available if we wished.

The room was clean and tidy. I would not say according to English standards that this was a luxury or even a 4 star hotel. There was noise from other guest all the time. You could hear the television from next door rooms. People in the corridors don't seem to realise other people may need some quiet time. The bar was not open on a weekend! There was a communion party going on for the whole day and there were lots of children!
Internet was available free in the reception and restaurant area but you had to pay for it in your room. Is this 2017? Technology should be available for free in all hotels by now.
For the money, I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Stayed here 2 nights , about a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Friendly staff , very comfortable room, good shower. Good WiFi signal. Had 2 meals in the hotel which I enjoyed. Breakfast also good. There are a couple of bars nearby . This hotel served one of the best Gin & Tonics I have tasted , great highly recommended. Enjoyed my stay here & would recommend.

This hotel is under Marriott group but clearly fall short of the Marriott standard.
Stayed here on 29th Oct 2016.
During my shower, I realized that the shower gel was an empty bottle. Obviously housekeeping did not replace new one.
Hence I call up the reception to ask for a new one. Reception said there was no housekeeping and told me if I wanted a new one, I can go downstairs to take from reception. I was shocked as I was obviously showering halfway.
There is no service to speak of here. When I went down to the reception, front desk staff was not apologetic that housekeeping did not do their job. Not to mention that there was no intention to bring up the shower gel to me although I mentioned that I was in shower.
For a 4-star hotel under Marriott group, I think this is simply a shame.

Although our housekeeping wasn't in the hotel, certainly someone of our staff should have gone to your room to attend your request. I think that it could be a lack of understanding by phone (our fault), cause situations like that are not usual at our hotel, as you can understand.
