You can upgrade at reception ; can't remember how much extra per night, but if you email the hotel they will reply. I had a standard Seaview, and it was fine for me - had free wi-fi and use of an empty fridge. The superior rooms have a kettle (not allowed in standard rooms due to older electric wiring) and have been refurbished. We were told we could get hot water from the bar if we wanted a brew in the room, but on AI could take a tea or coffee up anyway. I did not inspect a superior room, but jet2 site suggests only a shower, where standard rooms seem to have a bath with shower over.
