Large room; quiet; comfy; request room with a/c. Wifi included; excellent breakfast, and optimum location. Private parking as well, and a very good value: 55€/night for a single. Stefania and Fabio do not speak too much English, but will mane every effort to please guests. If you speak Italian your effort will be appreciated. If ever I return to Bevagna...

Loved this place - in a beautiful old monastery with large rooms and welcoming owners - the frescos are stunning and would be wonderful if the government could spend a bit more money on decoration but all in all a lovely p place to stay in true Umbrian style

Stayed in Bevagna fwo nights here and loved it. It was a true Italian experience. Fabio speaks no English and his wife speaks some and tries very hard, but after all I was in Italy and between my poor Italian and hand gestures and a little English we got by very nicely. This a very interesting place, it's either a...

Stayed recently with my husband and two children. The owners, Stefania and Fabio, were wonderful. Very welcoming but not intrusive. The generous breakfast buffet overlooks the courtyard of the old cloister. Location is perfect -right in the center of this beautiful medieval town. The room was simple but spacious and the air conditioning was great. Can't wait to go back.

We have been in the Albergo il Chiostro at the end of last November. Located only a few footsteps from the main square of Bevagna, il Chiostro is a peaceful haven of relaxation among the hills of Umbria. Actually, it is a pretty B&B based at the upper floor of a restored XV century cloister. The rooms are spacious, unsophisticated...

We stayed for 3 nights to enable us to explore all the beautiful Umbrian towns nearby such as Perugia, Spello and Spoleto. Our hosts were so wonderful! For a small additional cost Steffanela even did a load of washing for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Fabio or his wife. The B and B has a fascinating history...

I Chiostro di Bevagna is a comfortable guest house on the upper floor of a 13th c. Dominican convent. The rooms are a bit spartan but very comfortable. The owners are very warm and friendly. During the warmer months the excellent breakfast is served outside overlooking the cloister. It is located only a few steps from the main square in...

Highly recommended. My husband and I stayed at Il Chiostro di Bevagna for three nights in May 2014 and were happy to have landed in such a sweet spot. The converted convent rooms are decorated simply and comfortably. Ours was quite spacious, with two windows looking out over rooftops towards the countryside. The bathroom had a heated towel rack. The...

two nights here on a cycling tour and this is a lovely welcoming place. The building is beautiful. It's conversion to a hotel gives a slightly spartan feel to rooms, but this is compensated by the warmth of the welcome. Owners really make the effort to make you feel at home. Breakfast is served in a lovely spot above the...

A most delightful place in the centre of Bevagna, our hosts, Fabio and Stefania, are so helpful and anything we asked fir was provided with a smile. It is clean, quiet and a bit of a respite, having travelled through and stayed in some busy places throughout our journey through Italy. Would recommend to anyone.

“A/C was noisy, but appreciated. Make sure you walk and check out where the 'alley' to the parking area is, before you try to drive it-very sharp left turn, narrow alleyway, but worth the effort.”
