Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Decided spontaneously to head up to Binz for a 4 day relaxation trip and booked a Junior Suite in this Hotel. The suite was very nice, all modern refurbished including a tablet with Hotel, town, tourist informations as the latest gadget. And although its in the center of town, the boardwalk, beach and ocean some 100 feet away, its pretty quiet. The staff at the reception was very friendly, supporting, and helpful - which is not that usual in Germany.

Had it not for the issue of parking this hotel should earn high points for its superb location on seaside, great in-house restaurant “Maxim”, and good room. Staff were not quite friendly and helpful and we found difficulties for our car park even we had already booked ahead.

Check-in was fast and friendly though the adress in the booking confirmation is for the beach front entrance which confuses the GPS. Lottumstrasse 5 is the correct adress if you arrive by car. Our junior suite one floor up had no AC. The room was very warm as was the outside temp. We asked for a fan which they provided the next day free of charge. Other than the heat, the room is very nice, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and lots of counter space for toiletteies, outlet for charging by both sides of the bed. A small desk and a recliner, kettle in room. Most information at the hotel is in German. You would think that a hotel in a tourist town like Binz would have an English translation. The breakfast was excellent with something for everyone. If it weren’t for the lack of AC Belvedere would get the highest rating.

My wife and I received the stay in Binz Villa Belvedere as silver wedding present from our kids.I was as my wife thrilled about the idea. Now I know the difference between paying guests and coupon guests. Firstly the staff are friendly generally everything is just ok .apartment could be way better fitted and a little run down .needs to done up again , I'd say 5 years ago it was fine. Bathroom shower baaa. The main problem for me is the evening meal , This is where I realized I am a coupon guest.!!! Tiny meals where I noticed visited got normal sized .? first evening waited 1 hour for our meal, when I asked why got a lie as answer 😡. The prices are not in order. The coupon price was 580€for a 3 night stay very expensive found lousy evening meal. The breakfast was cheap and cheary lots of selection , mostly Supermarkt stuff. But ok

We had a lovely 3 days in Binz and were extremely happy with the cosy apartment which was perfect for our needs. The restaurant where meals were taken served excellent food and service to match. We would definitely recommend staying here and will come back for sure.

We enjoyed our stay, 4 nights. Room was basically a vacation apartment. Large master bedroom, and living room. Small kitchen, and a good size second bedroom. Was clean and had the ability to make small meals there. Nice location to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and groceries. Nothing was further than a 10 min walk at the worst. There were some cons as always. The entrance was by the kitchen. While we were the next floor up it was very noisy with the windows open. This was due to the normal kitchen sounds. Not too bad but if you are a late sleeper, this might be an issue. Our room was on the city side and the street is very noisy early in the morning with delivery trucks. It's just part of the deal. Trash was a bit confusing, never knew what to do with it, not did anyone come for it. Parking is a trick. The parking garage is about 150 meters away. Yes you can sometimes park in front of the hotel to load and unload. Just have to wait sometimes for a spot to clear or go very early in the morning. The garage is smaller and European size SUV's are tight. Large American vehicles...Good luck. Make sure you tell them if you have a large vehicle. There are a ridiculous amount of birds in the garage. It's nasty, bird droppings all over, and your vehicle will be covered as well. There seems to be a garbage collection there as well. It smells pretty rank at times. All in all we would stay again.

We had a very spacious and well-furnished penthouse with balcony, two bedrooms and baths, as well as a kitchen. Very close to beach and numerous great restaurants. Very generous breakfast buffet open until 11:30 for late sleepers. Free WiFi ok. Only downside was lack of room servicing, so we had unmade beds and sand accumulation. No elevator.

We stayed at this hotel two nights in July. The room was nice decorated, the beds had a good quality. But we really missed the oppurtunity being able to sit outside on a balcony! The room was quite warm, we tried to have the windows open most of the time...No air-con. We arrived about 11 pm and then we only got the reply "The checking-in is 15 am". Not so helpfully! We were showed a parkingplace in a garage so small that we couldn´t used it for our car. When we told the staff this, the only answer was "Can we get the key to the garage back?" We had to look for a parkingplace on our own. The breakfast was good but we have problems with (for intrusive) gulls...

My husband and I arrived a good hour before check in began and we were welcomed with open arms even though we were early. The reception staff were pleasant and eager to help, advising us on where to park and how to get to our room. The room was simply furnished but was clean and warm. The only downside were the pillows which were very uncomfortable and didn't aid a restful nights sleep. The hotel is very central for the town and is a five minute walk away from all the restaurants and nightlife. There is a restaurant on site where we had breakfast which was good and plentiful. My husband and I would have no hesitation in booking into this hotel again.

Only a five minute walk from the train station and right on the promenade the Belvedere is in the perfect location. The rooms are large and come with quality fittings. The staff speak excellent English , and are very professional. A gem of a place to stay.
