We have just returned from a superb 2 week holiday in lech . The team at the Elisabeth are hard working and are always friendly and helpful. We had room a1 on the first floor, very spacious and comfortable. The food is excellent and the free wine went down well. Flights were on

Inghams are being, shall we say, rather economical with their description as to twin rooms. We felt rooms 21 and 11 are suitable for a single parent plus child but definitely NOT for a couple. The second bed is very much a converted sofa bed arrangement with a firm wooden base

Thank you for taking the time to review your Inghams holiday experience, recenttraveller2017. We describe both rooms 11 and 21 as twin rooms, offering a single bed & a single sofa-bed in an alcove. Indeed, we have found these rooms popular with friends travelling together, or parent/child arrangements, but of course appreciate that they are not best-suited to couples and regret that you were unaware of this. As regards your flights, we were unfortunately let down by the carrier at extremely short notice and were required to make alternative arrangements which, as you know, saw a change from Innsbruck to Salzburg. We did try our best to source an alternative carrier to operate this tricky route into Innsbruck, a notoriously difficult airport to fly into and one that requires specific pilot and crew training. We're sorry that this impacted on the travel element of your holiday.

Firstly it's felt hats off to Chrissy who knew from the Chalet Lucas in Mayerhofen and her team. They were friendly, fun and informative not to mention hard working. The food was great and varied as my new spare tyre can testify. The rooms were good and comfortable. Lech is an

After reading previous reviews we were a little apprehensive about this chalet hotel. Luckily we really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and it was very spacious with good sized bathroom with separate toilet. The staff were very friendly and

Hi there SteveDalliston2017, many thanks for your query. Although in summer it is true that we do not welcome great numbers of families with younger children, that is not to say that they are not welcome! I am very happy to confirm that we do have a small number of rooms in the Chalet Hotel Elisabeth, which could accommodate your Family. Naturally availability will depend upon your desired travel dates, to this end I recommend contacting one of my colleagues in our reservations department, who can then advise you more specifically. They are to be reached on 01483791111. Of course if I can assist you further, please don't hesitate to contact me again here on Tripadvisor. Kindest regards, Andy Johnson Head of Operations Austria Inghams

Not sure about staff accommodation as have only been here as a guest but form the attitude of the staff they were all happy and fun loving so can only assume that they had nothing to gripe about (which might include very satisfied with their accommodation). However, go and find out as I'm sure, from my perspective as a guest, you will not be dissapointed

Hi there 494elizabeth, thanks for your question! The Chalet Hotel Elisabeth does have a small garden area to the rear of the hotel, right next to one of the tributary streams running into the main river. The lane referred to in a previous reader's answer is thankfully typically very quiet i.e. it is not a main thoroughfare. I can happily report that previous guests have enjoyed the small garden area as a place to read or just watch the world go gently by! I hope to have answered your question, of course if I or my colleagues can be of further assistance don't hesitate to contact us again, either here on Tripadvisor or by calling us in the UK on 01493791111. Kindest regards, Andy Johnson Group Head of Operations Austria, Germany, Finland & Norway Inghams
