I'd read mixed reviews of the hotel, especially of the food on offer, but so glad we stayed there.
From the time we checked in the whole experience was amazing, with all the staff being first class, a small but very comfortable room with a great view of the bay..
We ate in the hotel and the food at dinner was really great and reasonably priced. We'd read that the breakfast was a poor quality buffet, it turned out to be a wonderful ala carte offering of a very high standard.
Of course the main selling point of the hotel is the view, I have to say my high expectations were exceeded.
Our stay here was the highlight of our road trip, and we will most certainly return.

I have to admit that my expectations of the Hotel for the price were much higher. The experience has not been good since the noise from the construction of the hotel next door and from the room has not been very positive.

Since we arrived at the Hotel, the people at the reception were very insistent with the payment and the language barrier, the arrival was very uncomfortable for us. Room type Site Seaview / Site Seaview - Standard - The Hotel has wonderful views. It is not worth booking a room with a view because the entire hotel has a view. If you travel with children (from 1) book another room if they don't put a very thin mattress on the floor to sleep on - the space is small. The bathroom is horrible, it does not have a shower plate and it is very deteriorated. The new hotel that are building next to Samet Boutique Hotel makes your stay very noisy.

the people who work in the restaurant and kitchen are wonderful with smiles and make the stay wonderful

The resort has stunning view, they are definitely growing as a lot of construction is happening while we were staying there. We spent a night to see sun rise and it’s well worth it. However the room is pretty small even we had the bathtub with the view room. The shower is very weak, the bathroom is also small and has a musky smell. The staffs are nice, friendly and really helpful but seem like they don’t have good information to provide to customers. They will need more trainings to become more professional. Food was ok, breakfast needs a huge improvement on selection for foreigners. It’d be even better if they could implement the management system for the whole resort and train the staffs. We left our luggage and other belongings with the front office when we went out for James Bond boat trip. We thought they would put them somewhere safe but they left them out in the open area which was very surprising.

I am giving a 5 stars for the stunning view, location but 3 for room, staffs and breakfast.

Think the view speaks for itself; somewhere I've always looked forward to seeing. The staff at the hotel made the experience even better. Every single person we met was very helpful, caring and caried an amazing energy.
Great place and great team.
Thanks

When we decided to visit Phang Nga bay, this was the only hotel and booked it in spite of the many poor reviews. Both my wife and I were very pleased to have stayed there one night as the view alone over the bay is worth it. The employees were all very helpful and engaging with guests. We booked a superior room and paid the price of a luxury room in Bangkok. That was the only downfall although it was very clean and the bedding was comfortable. For one night, do not hesitate the view over the bay is simply awesome!

We absolutely loved our one night at this hotel! The views from the room of course are spectacular. We enjoyed the picturesque infinity pool, and the restaurant food was delicious. The hotel can also quickly organize private longtail boat trips to see James Bond and other islands in the bay (pier conditions are rustic). The only downside is there is a massive skywalk construction project right next door. We couldn’t hear any noise in our room but it did take away from the ambiance at the restaurant unfortunately.

A view of the islands and a magnificent bay. But also a delicious Thai cuisine restaurant. Quick service. A little worried, believing in an umpteenth restaurant for Tourists places facing a magnificent view. In fact no, fast and welcoming service and delicious Thai food.
To come back and remember

One night stay to enjoy the magical vista and experience of Phang Nga Bay. K. Pui and rest of team were pleasant and helpful. Room ticked the boxes with very good internet. All meals were well prepared and delivered.

Spectacular views of the bay. Recommend early arrival and take tour of islands with local guide and boat pre check in. Ours lasted 2 1/2 hours and was enjoyable. This way relax the next morning by the pool pre check out. Will likely return. Variety of accommodation options to suit budgets including tents
