Whilst this is a typical aussie pub the accommodation doesn't smell of booze or cigarettes. The shared bathrooms have been beautifully renovated and were quite a pleasant suprise. The restaurant downstairs does great food and the management are extremely pleasant and helpful. Overall I would definately stay here again.

Pretty good for a small pub but unfortunately no water view. Pub prices for drinks and bottled wine available at good prices. Big eating areas both open and enclosed if required and friendly and efficient staff. The menu is quite substantial and reasonably priced. A great place for a meet-up and then wander the surrounding area to browse and enjoy...

If your riding to Old Pacific Hwy north of Sydney Going north towards the central coast just before the Hawksbury bridge is the turn off to Brooklyn. Head down there for a well deserved beer or two.....

Not bad for a small coastal pub - however with no view you'd really want the food (especially the seafood ) to POP! The pub part had a healthy mid Christmas crowd of locals and visitors. Big place - airy and light. Solid selection of beers - and staff friendly. The Anglers restaurant is really not much more than a...

Jus5 a nice traditional pub. Good prices on food and liquor. Bottle shop attached and take aways allowed until 10pm. Nice quiet area by the marinas. Local stores nearby and accommodation if you ever need it.

We stayed one night at Anglers Rest as we were in Brooklyn for a function during the week. Although they are shared bathrooms they are very clean and because there are only a few rooms there was no drama about having to wait. Love the high ceilings as well, pretty good for a pub stay. Not sure how it'd be...

I have visited Brooklyn a few times now, I always visit The Anglers Rest for a drink and this time decided to stay. A very welcoming venue, reasonably priced which I always have a great time at! You can even buy your own bottle of wine at the on site bottle shop, pay $1.00 extra and drink it at the...

This is a great place in a lovely area. The rooms are basic but very well set out and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is very quiet apart from passing trains and close to the wharf and numerous eating places. The food at the hotel was fantastic. Bathrooms are share but very modern and were clean when we...
