The amenities, including a modern pool and BBQ area, receive positive remarks, though there have been a few hiccups in acquiring extra amenities. Its coveted location near Hastings Street is consistently praised for convenience and scenic views.

Great location - friendly staff - large and comfortable room overlooking the pool - 30 metres from amazing coffee and cocktails.
We were there with grown up kids - cannot recommend it enough.
Swim and a coffee - home to the pool - everyone slowly got ready before we hit Hastings Street for lunch. Another swim and a cocktail with sandy feet. The best!

A HIDDEN GEM found tucked away off Hastings St! Very much a boutique style accommodation on a smaller scale compared to some of the other accommodation options so is lovely and quiet. This is what makes Hotel Laguna so special and UNIQUE! All rooms are privately owned so have their own special charm but are modern ,fresh and well appointed. There is also access to washing machines and dryers which is brilliant! Apartments that back onto the Noosa river get to watch a stunning sunset each night.
Staff are friendly and always very helpful where customer service is their highest priority. The pool is very pleasant, think Slim Aaron’s gorgeous Palm Springs pool and you have it! A stand out with this beautiful accommodation is its wonderful BBQ area and the lush well maintained green lawn surrounding it and the pool area. This makes it so functional for families especially with little ones! Being a smaller property allows you to meet others guests more easily. As a result we have made life long friends where despite living in different states we all go at the same time each year and enjoy reconnecting ! We have been coming for 10 plus years and will continue to come forever! Thank you Linda, Tony , Sharon and the support team!

Location very convenient on Hastings Street, close to the woods making it much quieter than other hotels/resorts. Close to shops, restaurants and beach access. Park the car and never need it again until you leave. Room 112 on the ground floor runs from the river thru to the pool, lovely breezes and 2 balconies to enjoy either the river or the pool. Walk out straight onto the pool deck, which has padded sunlounges, so comfortable. Pool is set between 2 block of aprts so all noise from Hasting St completely eliminated, making it very peaceful and relaxing. The Aprt was beautiful, separate bedroom with balcony looking over the river. While bathroom was small it was beautiful. Kitchen had everything I needed including a blender for smoothies and full size fridge. Aprt was clean and bright (white) and comfortable lounge, with 2 TV's. No satellite TV which would have been good. WiFi worked brilliantly, didn't cut out. Staff were extremely obliging, accommodating my request for a ground floor aprt so I didn't have to walk too many stairs. Letting me check in early as the aprt was available when I arrived early morning. Used the pool deck on my check out day which had a lovely hot shower, perfect before my trip home. Pool side facilities of a high standard. Overall, I had an extremely restful and relaxing holiday and will definately return.

It’s not worth the price! Very small room. Uncomfortable bed. Very loud air conditioner! Broken shower head. Unsafe doorknobs! To name a few! Got a room with view over the parking lot with loud next door restaurants!! They are basically charging you for the Hastings street location but no service what so ever. Not even cleaning during your stay and in a very strange way, they tell you that you have to take your trash out, wash your dishes and tidy up your room before you leave. Basically doing their cleaning service for them otherwise you’d be charged $50. Lastly , it’s written that it doesn’t have lifts and trust me, you don’t want to carry luggage up the stairs.

We stayed at hotel Laguna for the first time expecting to have an amazing experience in Noosa to celebrate Father’s day as a family with a young infant. Unfortunately, this is tainted by the poor attitude of staff and lack of customer service. Our air conditioning in the unit was leaking which flooded the living room floor when we got back from dinner at 7 pm. When we raised the issue with the manager Tony, he told us passive aggressively and said “do you have a house, well things break down” there’s nothing we can do but it will be fixed by 7.30 am tomorrow. The next morning, our AC was not only fixed by 7.30 am, we had to wait for AC technician to be called who was only available after 11 am. This is obviously not ideal given the 30 degree heat in Noosa and a young baby that needs to sleep in the cot. Finally he only said sorry as he refunded $300 to my account. While I understand there are so many units to look after but as a manager of the property it is also his responsibility to maintain these units including the AC. We had to pay $22 for towels replacement (and still had to ask for it) and they only do a weekly cleaning service despite the website saying otherwise. Everytime we asked for additional amenities, it felt like it was such a chore for the staff. There is no lift in the property, which makes it difficult when carrying multiple baggages as a young family. While the location is great, there are plenty of other options with better customer service in Noosa.

Thank you for posting a review and we are disappointed that we did not meet your expectations. As managers, we can only do our best to rectify issues in a timely manner and rely on tradesman to fix these issues when they are available - and it is very difficult to get a 24 hour service from them as you could imagine. As you mentioned we compensated you for the inconvenience of the 1 night of no AC and are disappointed you still felt this was not enough. We are a 3 1/2 star resort that is regularly maintaining all equipment, but cannot foresee unplanned breakdowns. Our website clearly advises guests that our rooms are serviced on a weekly basis as part of the tariff and if you wish further servicing there is a small charge of $22 and sorry this offended you. Our website also states we are a 3 storey walk up with no lifts and cannot be responsible for guest not reading our information before making a booking and arriving to be annoyed and disappointed. It seems that we were not going to meet your expectations from the onset and sorry for your experience.

We stayed in a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment with direct access to the pool area. It was no issue to the hosts the we arrived slightly early. The suite was spotless and had all the amenities we required for another relaxing break for two including available swimming towels. The poolside bbq area was great - easy to use with ideal adjacent dining area. Hotel Laguna is ideally located next to the retail and eating establishments - the beach and green space near the Noosa river mouth and only a 2 minute walk to the river ferry and kayak/ leisure boat hire. This was our second stay but won’t be our last ( hopefully)

We have been coming here for more than 10 plus years now and I think we will until the day we die! Hotel Laguna is a hidden gem on Hastings St. it is very much a boutique style hotel where everyone is friendly and it is small enough that we all have built wonderful friendships with the management and staff but also all the other guests who continue to come back at the same time each year as we do. It is the only pool that is surrounded by grass instead of concrete, so much nicer for kids if there aren’t enough banana lounges. The apartments are modern, spacious and functional as well as being well equiped for long term stays. There is a lovely big bbq and dinning area around the pool which is ever so nice to dine around in the evening. The property also backs onto the back wharf where you can catch the ferry which is a great way to dine out and go by boat for a change! We have stayed river side and Hasting st side (we have not had any trouble with noise). They offer free washing machines and dryers for hotel guest as well. Like I said, it’s a hidden gem and a really lovely piece of paradise that is much quieter compared to most of the other accommodation complexes in Hastings st. Tony and Linda, the manages will always do their best to assist you with anything you might need or advice on something local. All you do is walk out the front door and you either cross the road and you are on Noosa main beach or you have all the Hasting St shops, restaurants, cafes and spa / massage centres on your door step! Oh and Miss Money Penny is right next door and they make the most amazing cocktails , as seen in my photo to get you into the holiday vibe! Enjoy!

Laguna Hotel has the best location - on Hastings Street, It seems to be recently refurbished and it is quite nice and clean. Parking is available, which is really important as there are not many places you can park on Hastings St. It was my oversight, but i was surprised to find out that the property charges guests for beach towels - $5 per towel, as well as charges for bath towels. It adds up to the nightly rate, which is not cheap considering that there is no room service, lift, no gym, or food facilities, no tour organisers...

Thank you for taking time to post a review. The rooms are supplied with towels for your stay as part of the room rate which in our opinion is quite low compared to the rest of Hastings St properties. But we do offer a towel change at a small cost and is at the guests request. Otherwise there are free washers and dryers in the laundry for guest to use. Beach towel are also available as you mentioned and are charged at a small fee to cover wear and tear, loss and laundering. You would be surprised on how many towels we lose over a year... and sorry you felt the cost was excessive

We could not fault Hotel Laguna. Our hosts Tony and Sharon were pleasant and helpful when needed. The location is amazing, situated down the "less busy" end of Hastings Street (which is great late at night) yet it is still so close to everything. The establishment has undone recent renovation and is fresh and bright. The pool is maintained well.

Have stayed here every year since 2015 (except during Covid restrictions). Back again this year and booked for next year. Rooms are always clean and comfortable, Tony and Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for anything you want to do ie the beach, the river, the shops, the restaurants, the Surf Club, the ferries, boat hire, the reserves and the walks/trails. Quite location and river views. Very relaxing on the balcony.
