Location very convenient on Hastings Street, close to the woods making it much quieter than other hotels/resorts. Close to shops, restaurants and beach access. Park the car and never need it again until you leave. Room 112 on the ground floor runs from the river thru to the pool, lovely breezes and 2 balconies to enjoy either the river or the pool. Walk out straight onto the pool deck, which has padded sunlounges, so comfortable. Pool is set between 2 block of aprts so all noise from Hasting St completely eliminated, making it very peaceful and relaxing. The Aprt was beautiful, separate bedroom with balcony looking over the river. While bathroom was small it was beautiful. Kitchen had everything I needed including a blender for smoothies and full size fridge. Aprt was clean and bright (white) and comfortable lounge, with 2 TV's. No satellite TV which would have been good. WiFi worked brilliantly, didn't cut out. Staff were extremely obliging, accommodating my request for a ground floor aprt so I didn't have to walk too many stairs. Letting me check in early as the aprt was available when I arrived early morning. Used the pool deck on my check out day which had a lovely hot shower, perfect before my trip home. Pool side facilities of a high standard. Overall, I had an extremely restful and relaxing holiday and will definately return.

I took my 13 year old daughter away for an overnight trip to celebrate the end of a difficult year of school, and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel to stay! We only had a studio room, but it was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and incredible value for money. The location means you don’t have to drive anywhere as there’s so many amazing restaurants to choose from, and the best of Noosa Heads is all within walking distance.

The pool area is immaculate - not huge, and during peak times, gets a little bit hectic, but a perfect way to cool down after a day at the beach. Beds were comfy. Management were lovely. We’ll definitely be back. 🤗

My husband and I had a mini stay last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at this hotel. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped although we didn't use much of the facilities provided (kitchen, laundry). I'm always particular about housekeeping and this was sparkling clean, not dusty anywhere and we appreciated that. The bed was comfortable and the whole apartment was generously sized. Fabulous location on Hastings Street, close to cafes and restaurants, and across the road from a good beach location. We would definitely return. There are no lifts that we saw, so beware of heavy cases up a few flights of stairs if you stay longer and take more luggage than just our overnight bags. Generous wardrobe space if you do. Beach towels for a reasonable hire ($5) per stay and good sized pool in the middle of the complex. Thank you for a lovely stay Tony. This is a well managed complex and highly recommended.

Positives :

vacancy available 5 days before my scheduled weekend away. The accommodation I was booked to stay at only contacted me 5 days before my holiday to say they were still closed due to coronavirus

the studio I stayed at was clean, with free wifi. There is a pool and a guest laundry onsite also

there is car parking onsite, at no additional cost. However this is on a first come first served basis Otherwise there is street parking and parking at Noosa woods with a 2 hour limit from 8am to 5pm 7 days a week.

the hotel is on Hastings street and walking distance to the beach. And there is the Noosa ferry terminal close by.

the staff are friendly

Negatives :

the studio I was spending the two nights at faced Hastings street so there was loud dance music coming from the adjacent restaurant and bar on the Friday and Saturday nights till midnight which affected my sleep quality

when I did get a carpark downstairs I was parked in by 2 cars and unable to attend a dinner at a restaurant that I had made a reservation at on the Saturday night . When I checked out this morning, I noticed two other guests had been parked in and couldn't checkout.

I had difficulty finding the afterhours contact number as the office and reception is only attended during the day. Only on looking through the reception window from the front of the hotel did I see the afterhours manager's number (also reached by using the night phone), and the security manager's number. In hindsight these numbers are also on the back of each room door on the fire safety notice.

When I spoke to Sharon, the reception staff member re: being parked in and difficulty contacting afterhours assistance, she was deeply apologetic and reassured me the hotel will look into improving this situation by liaising with the parties involved. She also listened to my suggestion of advising guests staying on Friday and Saturday nights that they may be parked in and how to seek assistance.

I still managed to enjoy my weekend away !

Thank you for taking time to post a review and again we apologise for the inconvenience of the parking issue. As you mentioned, the contact numbers are available for after office hours and we have a manager buzzer at the front reception door that you did not see at the time. We are onsite and can always help when required. Hotel Laguna has limited parking and with Covid-19, we have no guests flying into Noosa and thus have no car - which helps this issue. Now all guests must drive and thus are parking spaces are of premium and we do need to double park cars on weekends to accommodate as many guests as we can. We appreciate that you now understand our predicament and hope you still choose to stay with us in the future. Management have also addressed the issue of late noise with the adjoining restaurant and they have spoken to the staff concerned.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent and truly the number one reason you'd come here. In the heart of Noosa and close to restaurants, bars, and the main beach.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were dark and mostly quiet. The air-conditioner was noisey and woke me up quite a bit when it kicked on. The silent mode on it never seemed to work no matter what. I did get used to the AC and had pretty good night sleeps.

The room was clean but we did have one issue. The large pillows on the bed(the non-sleeping pillows) absolutely stunk. It was either a wet, moudly smell or really bad BO. We suspect someone might have brought them to the beach or pool then placed them back in the room. Either way, I'm surprised no one smelled them when cleaning tbe rooms.

The bathroom was quite small and the nook where the toilet was is tiny. My legs were pressed against the wall and shower screen when I sat down. The rest of the room was totally fine though and spacious enough for what we needed.

I think 1gb of internet per day is pretty silly in 2021. That's about 20 minutes of Netflix. It's not 2005 anymore. This definitely needs updating.

Finally, the hotel doesn't have enough car spaces for all the apartments. That seems a bit odd and pretty annoying that you risk having no where to park, but thankfully we were able to find a spot each time.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location. We were happy here, regardless of the few small issues we had, and we'd return again.

Thank you for posting a review and management are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and our location. If you do come again and find that the air conditioner is noisy, please don't hesitate to contact reception as we can then have our maintenance crew deal with the issue immediately to make your stay more comfortable. We apologise for the unpleasant smell on our euro cushions and again unless a guest brings this to our attention, our staff cannot fix the problem. Our internet is actually now unlimited and the information in our compendiums in the room is still to be updated. Unfortunately due to COVID19, parking at our complex has become an issue as guests are arriving with more than 1 car and no one is flying to Noosa, making it difficult to accommodate all guests - but we do manage. We hope you come again.

Had a terrific long weekend staying at Hotel Laguna. Great location at the quieter end of Hastings St, so close to restaurants and the beach.

Really appreciated an early check-in when a room was available - this is rare. Add to that a late check-out on the Sunday and that meant three days at the beach rather than having to hit the road at 10.00am.

When I left my coat in the wardrobe, Sharon went out of her way to help return it, going to the post office after work and paying for the freight, trusting that I would reimburse her.

What a great experience and a wonderful weekend!

My wife and I stayed there for two nights at the start of October. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay as the location was very handy.

The room was quite modern and clean. Air conditioning was strong, and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had a kitchenette (not full kitchen ) that was very handy as my wife is pregnant and all she wanted to eat was 2 minute noodles.

The staff were very accommodating and services such as laundry and DVD hire were free of charge.

There is a lovely swimming pool in the middle of the complex and BBQ area. Restaurants, bars and cafes are all nearby so location is great. I would highly recommend this place.

Lastly, I accidentally left my watch at the hotel and the manager/owner kindly called to remind me. He kindly posted my watch back to me and it came as promised, packed very well to prevent damage - amazing service!

Laguna Hotel has the best location - on Hastings Street, It seems to be recently refurbished and it is quite nice and clean. Parking is available, which is really important as there are not many places you can park on Hastings St.
It was my oversight, but i was surprised to find out that the property charges guests for beach towels - $5 per towel, as well as charges for bath towels. It adds up to the nightly rate, which is not cheap considering that there is no room service, lift, no gym, or food facilities, no tour organisers...

Thank you for taking time to post a review. The rooms are supplied with towels for your stay as part of the room rate which in our opinion is quite low compared to the rest of Hastings St properties. But we do offer a towel change at a small cost and is at the guests request. Otherwise there are free washers and dryers in the laundry for guest to use. Beach towel are also available as you mentioned and are charged at a small fee to cover wear and tear, loss and laundering. You would be surprised on how many towels we lose over a year... and sorry you felt the cost was excessive

You won’t find a better spot right in the heart of Hastings Street!

The pool is perfect for lounging around, the rooms do the job and have what’s needed and for a location 100m from the beach, the price is very reasonable!

The absolute highlight of Hotel Laguna is the owners Tony and Linda. Two beautiful and hospitable people who have made our stay so much better. After an early morning flight Tony indicated that there is an opportunity to get into our room well before the check in time which helped us massively. Not only that, he flagged an opportunity to check out later to accommodate our late flight too. Both instances would be rare and came about through sheer luck, but he’s willingness to help us out and make our Noosa and Hotel Laguna stay is so well appreciated.

Thankyou so much for an amazing stay!!

We stayed in a studio for a long weekend.
The location was great but the staff are incredibly rude. The old lady on the front desk spoke to us like we were naughty kids being reprimanded by the school principal rather than a paying guest. E.G. when we walked in “room! What room are u in?!” In a very aggressive tone. Once we confirmed we were in fact legitimate guests of the hotel there was no apology for her tone and attitude.
The bathroom also flooded ever time we showered and they don’t change towels so you end up having to mop the floor up with them. The water flowered all the way out to the carpet in the main room.
Also whilst you confirm car on booking, there is also no guarantee for a reserved spot and you end up with no car park.
Ok venue, but customer service and bathroom leave a lot to be desired.

Thank you for taking time to post a review. We apologize for our receptionists efficiency as being construed as a rude tone and will ensure we bring this to her attention as I am sure that she is not aware that her tone was offensive. We understand that this newly renovated apartment was not to your satisfaction as the newly installed frame-less glass shower screens do tend to leak water if the shower head is angled in the wrong position. It is disappointing that you did not mention in your review that Ellen our receptionist also gave you additional towels specifically to help alleviate this issue and also a complimentary mini service during your stay plus a late check out for the inconvenience. In regard to our parking, all our welcome letters do advise guests prior to arrival that our parking is unallocated and limited and we do advise that there is no reserve parking on our property. May I suggest that if you wish reserved parking and daily servicing of the apartment, the Sofitel may be more to your liking but their pricing is more than $205 per night for the same grade of room. We hope you visit Noosa again.
