We had a two bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor with stunning views of the beach, ocean and national park.
The grounds have 3 pools and a spa which came in very handy for the children.
Daily servicing really makes your stay at Seahaven luxurious. Who wants to be making the bed? Fluffy fresh towels are replaced every day, as well as the kitchen and laundry amenities.
The facilities are in top condition and there was nothing inside or outside of the room that needed maintaining. Clearly the staff do a great job of keeping on top of it.
The resort itself is nice and quiet, even during peak time. The location is on Hastings st on the beachside but it is away from the really busy section of the street which might help.
The staff are so friendly and clearly know their stuff.
Only downside to staying at Seahaven is leaving! No wonder guests rebook as soon as they have left.
There are 3 pools with 2 of them heated and a heated spa. The depth of 2 of the pools were perfect for our child (1 meter) who absolutely loved it there. We’ve stayed at Netanya last time and that was nice but I think we prefer Sea Haven so much so I decided to write this review as I don’t have as much time to post reviews these days. We’d definitely stay here again next time we come up to Noosa.
2 bedroom family apartments say they have views of Laguna Bay and Noosa Main Beach; however, the room we were given on level 1 was below the level of the pool. You could see glimpses of water if you stood up and looked hard! Zero beach view.
We looked straight at the pool and they looked at us!
We had a lovely stay, but if I had known we wouldn’t have a view I may have chosen elsewhere. Interestingly we had friends staying on higher floors that paid the same or less and had expansive ocean and beach views and relaxing balconies and/or roof decks.
My husband chose a studio room @ $260.00 for the night.
We knew the room would be small but were horrified to find there was no external window, only a frosted glass one onto the public hallway.
We had stayed in a studio room here before but it had an external door opening onto a tiny balcony which at least allowed us to get some light and fresh air.
When asked how we could improve our situation (to get some air in) and were happy to pay, receptionist commented that we had booked through Booking.com and so there was nothing to be done, sorry. Any upgrade would cost in excess of $600 (apartment) !!!
I had the distinct feeling that had we booked direct she just may have been able to find a similar room to that we'd had previously..........they certainly were not busy..
The location on Hastings Street is perfect with a multitude of shopping and places to eat right on your doorstep.
We wish we had longer in Noosa and would definitely consider staying at Seahaven again.
The first time we had a small but lighter brighter room albeit only with a tiny view of the sea.
This time (due to costs) we stayed in a room looking onto Hastings St. It was interesting looking out onto the street.
However we found the room dark ish as no sunlight came in and there was no useful lighing in the bedroom, which was a large part of our bed sit style room space.
The room was squeaky clean but reeked of white king on arrival.
The trouble is that bleach has an after smell which is not pleasant and lingers.
I think at the least a diffuser needs to be put in the rooms, probably 2 if this heavy handed use of such cleaning agents is used.
The pools and pool area are magnificient.
The car park is also very good.
"Chose your room if you want a view and privacy. Floors 2 and 3 seem to be more likely to be able to see the ocean."Read full review
