As stated by many people on this website I found the staff to be rude and unresponsive and it is impossible to speak to the elusive manager! I wish I had read the reviews before booking this hotel. Being on Hastings street is the only plus.
This is the third time we have stayed here. It is a perfect location; the rooms are clean & spacious - perfect for a family holiday. The resort is also clean and well maintained. We will be back again!
We had apartment 37 and other family members had two other apartments. Our apartment decor wasn't too old, it must have been renovated in the last 3-5 years and was in excellent condition. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a huge balcony. The pool and spa are fantastic as are the gardens and water features. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. You can't find a better location being on Hastings street. The only suggestion I'd make is that a few more cooking utensils would help facilitate cooking inhouse. A great holiday assisted by staying at a great facility, we'd stay here again.
This place is the BEST. Clean and spacious. Staff are welcoming and accommodating. Location is the best. We didn’t want to leave. We had a 2 bedroom apartment at the back of the complex and it was quiet and relaxing but a few steps out the door we were swimming in the ocean and picking up food on busy Hastings Street. We will be making this a regular holiday stay. The only tiny thing that could be better was a few more cooking implements (baking/roasting dishes) we only had one so had to cook multiple dishes in the one pan.
we have stayed at Bella Casa, Peppers and several other hotels in the area. This is the best based on location, cleanliness and facilities. We had apartment 37 which was very clean and spacious, huge balcony secluded by palm trees. The only downside (if any) is that it backs onto Noosa Parade and during busy periods there is a lot of noise. Close the bedroom window at night and put on the aircon solves the problem. The pool and spa are fantastic and the water features as you walk through from the back rooms to Hastings Street give a Balinese feel. Staff were welcoming and friendly, car parking was provided. We could not fault this hotel and can't wait to return. I would choose this one over Bella Casa next door. Bella Casa bedrooms have wooden shutters on bedrooms and no actual glass - very noisy when you are trying to sleep. The pool and resort itself at The Emerald is far superior.…
