Detailed Reviews
Emerald Suites is located in central Hastings Street: the beating heart of Noosa. It's a minute from the beach and surrounded by excellent restaurants.
My family (incl. 2 kids: 4 and 7) stayed over the past week and had a great time. We had a large, 2 bedroom suite which included a balcony with a spiral staircase to a rooftop terrace. The terrace, however, is bare - a little more love and attention could make it such a great space.
The apartment is fully self-contained. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need to cook meals.
The kids loved the pool and spa (both heated). The pool area, however, is shaded by the buildings on every side and starved of sun. I enjoyed the sauna. I don't think there's a gym but, in any event, you're better off going for a run in the stunning National Park.
The service could be better: we stayed a week and our room was only serviced once. The allocation of toilet paper was inadequate and we had to buy our own. There were also only a couple of dishwasher tablets (which we had to supplement). At about AU$640/ night, I reckon toilet paper and dishwashing tablets ought to be included.
But I don't want to end on a negative note, as it was a great room and my criticism is fairly minor. I still regard Emerald as good value and would certainly return.

We booked a Superior 2 Bedroom apartment for 4 nights when they opened in June 2020 post COVID-19. On arrival, we experienced several issues in the apartment with the airconditioning, tv, internet, no towels in one bathroom...and a layer of dust over all benches and surfaces. The staff were very responsive and fixed most things shortly after our arrival. The next morning, the manager kindly upgraded us to a Platinum 2 Bedroom apartment. Everything worked in the next apartment and it was a lot cleaner. The fire alarm went off twice during our stay but these things can't be helped. Overall, we had a great stay despite the rough start.

we have stayed at Bella Casa, Peppers and several other hotels in the area. This is the best based on location, cleanliness and facilities. We had apartment 37 which was very clean and spacious, huge balcony secluded by palm trees. The only downside (if any) is that it backs onto Noosa Parade and during busy periods there is a lot of noise. Close the bedroom window at night and put on the aircon solves the problem. The pool and spa are fantastic and the water features as you walk through from the back rooms to Hastings Street give a Balinese feel. Staff were welcoming and friendly, car parking was provided. We could not fault this hotel and can't wait to return. I would choose this one over Bella Casa next door. Bella Casa bedrooms have wooden shutters on bedrooms and no actual glass - very noisy when you are trying to sleep. The pool and resort itself at The Emerald is far superior.

Very disappointed with our stay. At over $500 per night we expected better. The rooms were very dusty, as if the place hadn’t been given a proper clean in a long time. The apartment we were given was directly above a restaurant that was open for breakfast and dinner so we were woken up early and kept up late. The great location meant we could hear all conversations happening on Hastings street throughout the night. And the other thing that I can’t stand is that we had to PAY for beach towels. Beach side accommodation at $500 a night charges $5 per beach towel. There are plenty other places to stay along Hastings street. I suggest people find alternative accommodation than this one

My wife and I spent 11 glorious days at The Emerald. We often go to Noosa and like to stay in Hastings St, usually on the beach front. We gave The Emerald a go and we were both glad we did. For a location set right in the heart of Hastings, it is very quiet, the rooms can be darkened and are very spacious. Emma and her staff were very friendly and ready to assist with any requests. Definitely staying there again when we next return.

Our 3 bedroom unit on the bottom floor adjacent to the pool of the complex was very noisy, busy 24/7 with guest traffic entering and exiting the complex.
The children's beds were riddled with ants and mould on the ceiling The stench in the room was putrid and unbearable. Complaints made to staff fell on deaf ears and found them very dismissive and unconcerned re our complaints.
Housekeeping was sent in to clean the vents of the a/c system in an effort to rid the smell, to no avail and yet left the bedding below with dust and footprints all over, only to be told that housekeeping had left for the day and that the receptionist would have to see to changing the sheets very reluctantlyFurther complaints were made to reception staff and they were completely unconcerned with our complaint offering us no option of changing rooms or a reimbursement of the exorbitant fees paid for the 5 night stay.
It was a disgusting and horrid holiday at this resort and would not recommend it to anyone.

So much to tell. Where do I start. Firstly they told me the apartment had been newly renovated. It was clearly not the case. I paid to stay 3 and 1/2 weeks and I couldn’t get them clean my bathroom or kitchen. There were no cleaning products for me to even clean my own bathroom or kitchen. They provided me with 1 sachet of dishwashing liquid and one sachet of dishwasher powder. Given I paid $10,000 for my stay there I would have thought they could have supplied a little more. The water temperature was just, just warm enough to shower in with no cold water on at all. Certainly not hot enough to do dishes in. Not even regulation for a kitchen sink as I researched. There was a build up of dust and grime in both bedrooms despite the cleaner once a week vacuuming and changing the linen. They wouldn’t even take out my rubbish. The look of contempt when I came and went was nothing short of rude.

We stayed here for a long weekend and were looking forward to a restful break. We stayed in unit 6 which was directly above a restaurant that played music until after midnight on Saturday night and until after 11pm on Sunday night. Our bedroom window was directly above the restaurant. The unit itself was really beautifully decorated and well considered in terms of kitchen equipment, games for children etc. The location and proximity to the beach was also good. If noise dose not bother you, then this will probably be fine, but if it does, best you ask for another unit.

We booked a two bedroom apartment for a long week-end and had a great time. The resort is located on Hastings St. and is surrounded by all the shops and restaurants. We had room 27 which is well serviced having a dishwasher, microwave and induction cook top. The heating/cooling system is room by room and is very efficient. The apartment was quite large with views from the balcony into palm trees and a very nice outside area. The lounge area had two couches and the dining area had room for 6 at the table. There are two bathrooms including an en-suite which needs a little upgrading especially the shower area but overall an excellent spot to stay in Noosa.

We stayed in Unit 32 (second building back from Hastings Street) and found it spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable (including the bed). The complex is close to everything Noosa and has the added bonus that the car park is accessed from Noosa Parade rather than Hastings Street (which can get busy over the weekend).
We would stay here again.
