Park itself is for relaxed camping (sites not mapped out well) with most sites has grass. Although stated it was full, only 1/2 full ? Due to Covid restrictions. There are 2 blocks for females and males -showers great water press and hot water $1 for 4 minutes. Great undercover bbq areas and nice pool. Would benefit with a camp kitchen. Has only 2 drinking water taps. Laundry $5 per load using credit card. 800meter walk through bush land to bar and restaurant but no lighting at night so need torch and watch out for frogs on the path.

Hi Lyn, Happy New Year. Thank you for taking the time to review the Noosa North Shore Tourist Park after your last stay. We have made many improvements including all sites now have signage identifying locations. Showers in all amenities are now free. One of our next improvements will be the walking track including lighting between the Park and Retreat. We look forward to seeing you again soon

This review may not be too accurate in time as the campsite was in the middle of being revamped, so I’m sure it’s going to be great when finished. However, a few things that I hope will be included in the revamp are water taps around the campsite (we had to get water from the bathrooms), power boxes closer to our site tent and a camp kitchen.
The campsite was about 700m from the main retreat part so we decided to hire bikes to get to and from, but you could walk or drive. Most activities were located away from the campsite such as the mini golf, jumping pillow, mountain bike track and bouldering. These were all a hit with the kids and the bistro had some great food, so I recommend eating there. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There was lots of wildlife including kangaroos, and different birds. The grounds were nice and well maintained.

Amazing spot it's a shame about the management. Beautiful location but the staff don't seem to care eg, the pool was filthy during the xmas period they did not keep it clean with the number of people. We could not swim in it. Im surprised people were not getting sick. The pub only serves dinner till 730 and the allow you book a table to buy bottles of wine etc with dinner only to tell you 30min later they are closing. Some of staff are rude at the hotel and reception. And are not interested in creating a place people want to spend time and money they are more interested in minimal effort. My friends were staying in a cabin and the door frame was all milduey as the gutters were over flowing due to not being cleaned. There was a sign at the campsite to indicate drinking water but the water was yellow/brown. They had just opened a new amenities block and in the men's the urinal flushed constantly and each time it flushed the showers turned off. My brother informed management just so they were aware as it was a waste of water. His response was "well I can't do anything about it now" a more polite response would be "thanks for letting us know" this is a typical example of our experience with the staff.

Despite all this it was a great location, with lots of wildlife. And on the plus side staff don't care so you really have the campsite to your self to do as you wish, which worked as all the campers were respectful of each other.

We did enjoy our Xmas here.

This place has a lot of potentional but really needs management who care, like what the do, know what they are doing and can be happy and polite to customers.

We liked the park with the kangaroos and kookaburras. The toilets and showers were fine, older but clean. Laundry facilities were good. It was very peaceful the first 2 nights before the school holidays started. The concrete slabs were quite cracked and none of the sites had water. The BBQ took quite some fiddling around with to get it working but when it did it was good. Surprises were that we had to take a car ferry back and forth at $10 each way just for the vehicle. Caravans, trailers etc cost more. Given that the pub only opened weekends and the little store was expensive you need to arrive fully stocked. Wifi was very patchy, one bar & slow. If you accept these things then it is a nice place to just getaway and a lovely bush/ beachy feel.

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Noosa North Shore Tourist Park. Our property setting is amazing, we have an abundance of flora and fauna on our backdoor. We have a major refurbishment underway at the amenities so our Christmas guests should enjoy fab facilities in the park. The car ferry can be challenging if you are not aware of it prior to your arrival. Research is key to your best experience. The pub is now open throughout the holidays and the shop opens at 7am daily including the bottle shop open from 10am daily. Telstra is the strongest signal on the North Shore, our recommendation is to come away ready to be unplugged and enjoy the beautiful surroundings our camp site offers. Hoping to see you again soon.

Park is not run professionally or worth the prices. It was a busy time of year and the pool was filthy. There has been an upgrade on some of the amenities which were very nice though the other block lags attention for an expensive park. Quite difficult sites to get into for us, also was not the site requested, some have concrete slabs other do not for same price. Our powered site was quite a distance from power so had to borrow two extension leads. It was a tired park and needs more to claim a big 4 and high standard prices, plus $20 ferry across and back if you have a van. $10 just for car.
If you want to go to the only pub for dinner make sure you get there early as they shut the kitchen at 7.30 and this was New Years eve. Beach a short drive away is excellent.
The park has lots of nice trees which was nice.

Kids had a lovely holiday there but the mozzies were a nightmare. The camp site is a long way from the kids fun facilities like mini golf & was wet/muddy to walk there. It could do with a big spray to stop the mozzies breading in all the still water sitting around the place, then we would go back. I would def take my bike next time, to get over to the other facilities. Staff were very helpful & kids enjoying the climbing wall & laser tag.

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Noosa North Shore Tourist Park. We agree the mozzies are ferocious at the moment. The council has scheduled aerial spraying commencing this week. So hopefully this gets it under control. A bicycle to get from A to B is the ideal mode of transport especially if it gets wet underfoot. We hope to see you again soon.

Spent the Easter long weekend at NNS Tourist park and it was a great spot to pitch a tent.

We booked a powered site towards the rear of the campgrounds and there were plenty of space between us and other campers. Nice flat, clean and shady grounds.

The facilities and amenities were good and clean, can't complain. Free hot showers (no need to pay even though the coin box are still up). The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.

There is a walking/cycle track to the main reception, bistro and kids play area which was easy to get to and a nice area for the kids. We ate the bistro for lunch at the food was nice.

The campground is located close to the beach entrance, so easy to drive onto the beach to head south towards Noosa or north towards Double Island Point/Rainbow Beach.

I'd recommend this campgrounds.

Good Morning Lauren, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay over the Easter break. It can be rather hectic with a full house during that period. Our sites are generous in size allowing plenty of space between our guests. We have upgrades on the way in the amenities and the Safari tents we are excited to see as well as a raised walking track between the Tourist Park and the Hotel/Shop. We hope to see you again soon.

Great park, great amenities and friendly staff. Plenty of room for everyone and the sites are not on top of each other. The tavern is only down the road or a short walk and does great food at a fair price. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Stayed for 2 nights on a powered site.

Was a bit disappointed with the site itself, the power outlet was away to one side which really limited where we could set up meaning almost half the available space was unused and where we were was very uneven and muddy.

The toilets and showers in the park were good, the new block especially. Pool was ok but tired and had n need of some modernisation.

Don’t be fooled into thinking there is loads to do there. it’s a bit of a hike through a mozzie infested swamp to get to the other part of the park where the activities, bar etc are.

Pub/Restaurant was only open for lunch on the first day which was disappointing and the shop does not have any skimmed or light milk so it’s full cream or lactose free which again was disappointing.

Drinks and the bar was reasonably priced even if the food was a little pricey but you expect that in a place like this.

Has huge potential and they are clearly investing some money on it so could be good in a few years.

Unfortunately it had rained quite a bit prior to our stay and we were camped on the deluxe sites, which aren't so deluxe when it's been raining and it turns into a swamp!
Some information on checkin about the facilities and what is on offer would have been appreciated, as we found a lot of this out ourselves and from other campers.
New amenities was nice, but a bit of a walk from our site!
Overall it was OK, lots to do and appears they are trying to improve the place which is good to see.
