Nestled on Hastings Street, the Mantra French Quarter Noosa is celebrated for its prime position close to the beach and local attractions. Guests have called out the hotel's pool and convenient location as highlights. Despite this, the atmosphere and rooms have received mixed feedback, with some travelers finding them outdated and unclean, leading to a consensus that the hotel doesn't quite deliver on value for money. The service is often praised for the reception staff's friendliness, though experiences with responsiveness vary. Cleanliness also seems inconsistent, with some areas reportedly needing more attention.

This hotel apartment room was expensive and didn’t “wow” me. It had everything you could need for a weeks stay but lacked that up market accomodation pazzaz. The room looked to be recently renovated but small and still a bit tired. The rooms weren’t serviced unless staying for around 2 weeks. Fresh towels and linen were always available from reception and this was a 24/7 service.
The room also had a slight cigarette smell which went away when the stack slider balcony doors were opened.
The kitchenette was well equiped with all appliances and everything worked. The bathroom had a European laundry installed which made it easy to wash and dry clothes. The shower was really nice with plenty of room. Bedroom was an ok size with a king bed. Aircon worked well. 2 x small TV’s on the walls. 1 x in the bedroom and 1 x in the lounge off the bedroom. These both had in house movie channels. Whilst the balcony was small it was serviceable and provided a nice place to relax and have an evening beverage. Stacking slider doors allowed the lounge to become an indoor/outdoor area. The pool area had a couple of spas and the pool was very nice. Lounge beds and small tables were available around the pool but not always in the location that was suitable. More shade umbrellas needed. All washing and dishwasher powders etc were provided. The location of this room (127) was up high at the rear of the property and was very noisy every morning between 5-6 am due to the proximity to the driveway where the garbage truck would pick up the rubbish bins from the previous day. Relatively quiet area at night though. Location was fantastic as just across from main beach and surf club. Walking everywhere was not an issue. Hotel located approx 30-40 min drive from airport.

We had a ground level 2 bedroom apartment which was amazing for ease of access to the pool and to Hastings Street. Unfortunately we had renovations going on in the room directly above us which started Monday, the day after we arrived and continued until Wednesday. It began at 8am, finished at 5pm and included what we considered to be a tool removing tiles. We understand renovations need to be carried out but believed this type of work should mean the rooms directly effected should be out of service during this type of work. We approached the manager who said he believed this work should have been completed by Tuesday morning and would look into it. More quiet renovations continued from Wednesday. Mostly fabulous appliances in the apartment, the oven didn’t have any labels visible. Almost every kitchen utensil required was available. The main room was fabulous with a huge bed, 2 basins and a waterfall shower head with separate toilet. The second room had 2 single beds, one bedside table, one small cupboard and only enough room for one suitcase on the floor. The third suitcase lived on the table unit in the hallway. Two out of the three of us would stay again. Although mostly clean and tidy it would benefit a full deep clean and retouch of paint. You have to stay 8 days for a room clean. We stayed 6 so don’t get that but being able to wash our towels with provided laundry powder helped. The pool is lovely, so many loungers and plenty of options for full or part sun and full shade. We found the spa temperature a bit cool in the evening but can see it would be great to cool off in summer. Locale is absolutely fabulous, we don’t realise how good it was and that it was part of the complex until a waiter from another restaurant suggested it. It was one of our top rated dinner spots.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay. We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed our excellent location, the convenience of your ground-level apartment, and the pool area. It’s also wonderful to know you had a great experience at Locale and that it became one of your favorite dining spots. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the renovations in the apartment above you. While upgrades are necessary to maintain and enhance our facilities, we completely understand your frustration with the disruption. Your suggestion to close directly affected rooms during such work is a valuable one, and we will carefully review our procedures to better manage guest experiences during renovation periods. It’s great to hear that the apartment’s appliances and layout worked well for you, particularly the master bedroom and bathroom. We do, however, acknowledge the challenges with the second bedroom's space limitations and appreciate your honest feedback. Your comments about cleanliness, the need for a deep clean, and retouching the paint will be shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to address these areas. We hope to welcome your entire group back in the future for an even better experience. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if there’s anything we can do to assist or prepare for your next stay. Warm regards, Tiffany M Assistant Manager

We stayed here for 4 nights in a Deluxe 1 Bedroom Poolside Apartment # 120
POSITIVES
Position is excellent right at the end of Hastings street but still in the heart of everything.
The bed was super comfortable
Easy 3 min walk ti the beach
FREE Undercover secure parking
Pool area was great and really pretty at night
The apartment walls and ceiling are paper thin and we were constantly kept awake by either the screaming baby next door or the family above us scraping furniture around the floor and bouncing balls from 06:00am every morning
Staff were friendly
Check in quick and easy
As an Accor Member the place has ji bar so your complimentary drink vouchers are for a coffee at a near by coffee shop

NEGATIVES
Our Deluxe 1 Bedroom Poolside apartment had seen better days. Although the apartment was fine, new carpet and some better kitchen amenities would not have gone astray
The apartment also was nit very clean. I went to put on the bathroom light and git sone kind of black grease on my hand. I cleaned the light switch and my hand of this black stuff. Our bed runner/quilt had stains on it, the kitchen backsplash tiles had fat all over it from previous customers when they cooked and the crockery and coffee mugs still had coffee and tea stains on them and the wine glasses all had either marks or lipstick still on them. There was no dishcloth to wipe down the bench just a tea towel and scourer so i put all the crockery, knives forks glasses and mugs in the dishwasher and put it on an extensive wash. We ran out if toilet paper as there was only a bit on the roll when we arrived and no spares anywhere and your room is not serviced which didn't bother us as we prefer to do our own room. We did go down to reception to get more toilet paper and fresh towels and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There is also nowhere to eat your food other than the lounge and coffee table as there is no table and chairs. Once again this didn't bother us.
Overall we would stay here again but on a top floor apartment

The photos say it all so I will not elaborate. Every opportunity has been given to this so called ‘hotel’ to comment before posting the pictures. We told reception when checking out of our dissatisfaction, wrote to Jo-Jo twice, replied to a questionnaire (the ‘how did we do’ kind) which sparked a slight response saying that they would advise Jo-Jo the assistant manager but after still not so much as an acknowledgment of my emails, I have escalated the complaint to Simon Kirch apparently the ‘hotel’ manager. So plenty of opportunity to avoid going public but it seems that either these people don’t exist or more likely, they don’t care.
Firstly, this is not a hotel, it is a collection of apartments and pool/garden area. We only spent one night here and to my knowledge, there are no hotel facilities. We arrived around 6 o clock without a booking so, benefit of the doubt, maybe we got the only room left. Room 320. Website photos are not true to what you get, showing a dishwasher, blinds, updated room etc. The cost, I was told was because it is ‘Hasting Street’ and yes, I would expect a premium charge having stayed on Hasting Street twice before. But equally, there is an expectation that rooms are refurbed to an acceptable level for the location and inflated price.
We travelled from the Uk for a 2 month touring holiday (from Melbourne up the East coast to North Queensland) and this room has been by far the worst we have stayed in.
Sad that they couldn’t have just taken a minute to acknowledge the complaint.

Once we'd found our way in (the main reception and entrance to the underground car park is not in Hastings Street but in a "lane" that runs up the back of the property), our one bedroomed apartment was perfect for us.
It had an odd configuration with a shower room at the rear, a sleeping area surrounded by sliding partition doors in the middle and a kitchen/lounge/dining area at the front but it was well equipped.
After 4 weeks on the road, we very much appreciated the washer and dryer. It also had a microwave and a 2 ring electric hob.
Our apartment (number 304) was pool facing and at the end of a block. So, at night, it was very quiet and we had some good nights sleep.
It is more of a family resort than one for older couples like ourselves but we found it very comfortable.
It was ideally placed near to the shops/restaurants in Hastings Street and across the road from the beach.

The apartments are set around a lovely large pool area. The apartments are well equipped with new looking washing machine and dryer, dish washer, and all the kitchen utensils you can I understand use. Units are only serviced weekly unless you pay an additional fee. Reception staff, friendly , helpful and efficient. Only complaint is some areas require maintenance. There was a place on the ceiling that had been patched over very roughly. Some corners looked like they could do with a thorough clean. Good comfortable bed. As an Accor gold member, I have noticed that Mantra seems the only brand in the Accor stable that gives you less bonus points than dollars paid.

Upon arrival for check-in we were pleasantly surprised to be advised that we had received an upgraded apartment (after attending the resort for many years annually). Our good fortune was soon tempered when we realised the shower in the ensuite to the main bedroom had significant mould on the walls (extending out into the sleeping area). We promptly reported it to reception on day 1 and waited for cleaners to arrive, which did not occur. When day 4 of our stay rolled around we again reported the issue at reception and again waited for cleaners to arrive. Once again there was no response. On checkout we were asked if we had enjoyed our stay, which we advised we had apart from the mould in the shower which was met with muted laughter.
Given the response (or lack) of we experienced through our stay we contacted the general manager via the Mantra Guest Feedback privately over 1 week ago as the standards did not meet the expectations for our family stay. We have not had a response to this feedback consistent with that of what we experienced through our stay.

The mantra was such a great stay for 7 nights. We were warmly greeted at reception and our room was ready upon arrival 2 hours early.
We chose a 1 bedroom poolside room which was well worth the extra cost.
Our room was in the north block which is the best wing in our opinion. It is the block closest to the beach and Hastings St.The room was clean, very well maintained and most of all really comfortable .Our room was 104 which I would choose again, it had a really nice private courtyard leading straight onto the pool. The only fault if any is it has an older style spa bath with the shower overhead so accessibility to the shower may be a problem for elderly people.
Easy convenient parking is included under the property and the Manta is located in one of the best spots in Noosa.

We stayed for two nights in a one bedroom apartment at the Mantra French Quarter Noosa Hotel. It was grand!. Luxury rooms, A chance to spoil ourselves. Great location to have a wander through Noosa National Park, A foodies delight at one of the many high end restaurants on Hastings Street. Enjoy a dip at Noosa main beach, or do what we did, catch the Sunset Noosa Ferry cruise. One and a half hours to sit back relax, and take in all the sights of Noosas rich and famous. They waved at us from their outdoor settings and we responded in kind. It was fun, Many thanks to the resort staff. They were wonderful to us. Kindest Regards Garry and Dianne Dukeson

Some one bedroom apartments can have twin beds. They unzip the king bed into 2 King singles. This must be requested. I would recommend booking direct with the property and put in the request.
